*There are many Temples. Each Soul is a Temple.
This Goddess Dream Temple exists in electronic form, on the digital web, the internet of existence*
Sophia looked around. It was a vast field of infinite creative potential, existing in this reality here and now.
She understood, yet some part of her resisted. She was still changing, becoming more and more like the vision.
She tuned into herself, into her sacred heart temple.
I know what to do...
Anytime
she felt confused or troubled, she turned to the Spirit Within for
guidance and counsel. She had many Guides and Teachers, and learned a
thing or too about spiritual techniques and divine transmutation
methods.
What shall I do?
She
listened and sensed an inner quiet overcome the mental chatter in her
head. It was a state she was becoming more and more familiar with. It
engulfed her entire being sending electrical impulses up her spine, to
the top of the head, down into the center of her brain, then down the
front of her body, down through her arms and legs, hands and feet,
through what seemed like rivers of energy, the flow of life force power
surging through the meridians and qi channels of the body.
Steady...
In
her third-eye she saw the form of the Goddess. She was of pure light,
without gender, fearless, omnipotent, all-wise and knowing, beyond all
limitation. But most of all, she saw the Goddess as Pure Love. Sophia
worshiped the Goddess, sending all of her love and devotion to the Deity
she was experiencing in the Dream Temple.
I need more clarity... and more energy... !!
And
the Goddess spoke to Sophia in the innermost reaches of her soul. It
was beyond words, beyond the mundane, beyond what the timid souls fear
to imagine... and this satisfied Sophia immensely... the Beloved made
Her Presence known...
In inner silence Sophia communed with the
Spirit of the Goddess; in her heart she befriended Her, and She taught
her. Inconceivable things did She teach her: Ancient Magic and Ancient
Wisdom... for She is known as the Goddess of Magic... and the mysteries of the Ages are Hers.

Im finding to my surprise that love is arising all on its own, kind of taking me over in a way....and this is happening as I clear away the mud and debris bit by bit....the love just increases and increases. Im not actually doing anything other than get honest and clear my ****. This suggests to me the possibility that it is our very substance. And of course Im not talking about ANY kind of romantic or sentimental love, more an energy, but its definitely love and makes me feel connected to everything. pretty intense.

stands resplendent before me. For five minutes I love everybody. There
is only love. All action ceases. The Mile End Road, once a blood-stained
battleground of Bacchanalian excess, becomes the Garden of Gethsemane. A
bitter, 72-year old ex-docker becomes the ever-compassionate Buddha. A
Cypriot minicab driver becomes St Francis of Assissi. The 22-year-old
Glaswegian checkout girl is the divine mother. I love everybody. My
spirit is free. I am limitless in space, time and matter, simultaneously
the planet Neptune, part of the structural support to Vauxhall Bridge. I
am your left breast, I am Stepney, I am Peru, I am divine and so are
you. I love everybody. I am nothing except a mere cluster of notes, a
road sign in Skelmersdale. I ran the Roman Empire. I was a lavatory
attendant in Hull. I am everybody and everybody is me. Spirit. Who put

It's unfortunate that the word "love" is used universally in the English language (and several other languages) when many different things are being expressed. Parental love. Familial love. Fraternal love. Sexual love. Romance. Affection. Yet none of those come close to the actuality of "love" itself.
I read the excerpt, and wasn't particularly impressed , but that's neither here nor there. What the writer was ATTEMPTING to express is true - love is the most profound of all experiences, and yet words fall short because it is something we have either experiencedor not, and trying to talk about it is like trying to explain the flavor of wine to a child who has never tasted it.
Love is the reason. Love is the glue. Love is a quantifiable force which can be measured within the manifestation of Power and Will. Without love, a warrior has neither power nor will. There is no explaining this. It simply is.

I do think that it is a shame that we only have the term "love" to describe all types of love. I like what you are saying Scout. Love is everything. Also, I do think that romantic love is something that most of us want and need. I have learned a lot from failed relationships, it really pushed me inward and forward. My thinking these days is that if we do want to include a romantic relationship to our lives, then the best thing to do is to go into the heart, to look within, and find out how or why we are not whole. If we have the courage to do our work, and become whole(DJ called this the totality of the self), then we would attract someone who is whole too. If we have not done our work, and we are not whole, have not addressed the shadow within and integrated it, then we attract a partner who will eventually bring us pain and suffering. This pain and suffering is often the impetus for growth, yet sometimes we skip this step and seek out another partner to fill that hole.
Just my musings on love relationships these days, I hope this is helpful.

Love for Nature, the Earth and the entire Universe in general can be a wonderful thing if it expresses itself through gestures of gratitude and appreciation.
Love for humans infected with spiritual plague can indeed get you too close and infected. At least with a physical plague you can see just what loving and getting too close can do to you. With a spiritual plague you can't see unless you are a 'seer'. Then you can 'see' that most of humanity are infected with a contagious spiritual plague that is intent on spreading throughout the rest of the galaxy and the Universe.
Love will indeed get you infected if you get too close. Once infected there is, in general, no cure. Even if you are cured if you continue to associate with the infected you can easily become infected again. So, your "loved ones" can be your worse enemies in this respect.
Love for humans can get you into very deep trouble!
