Trying to summon energy to do something you really, really don't want to do can be quite a 'cancel-itself-out' situation Obviously, the solution is to become a controlled masochist so that I can easily get into the pain of doing things I USED TO really, really not want to do! Supposedly, there is a sacred power in such acts when approaching them head-on It is the very core of what true strength is all about Supposedly.... ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 04-28-2014 Now, here's some OUTRAGEOUS bass playing! It never did much for her and made me prejudiced against it because of the fact People who unwittingly worship books are nuts! Plain and simple History will back me up on this ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Guest - 04-30-2014 ` ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Draco Fellicci - 04-30-2014 //www.youtube.com/embed/gAYL5H46QnQ?featu ... detailpage ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 04-30-2014 ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 04-30-2014 unicorn1 wrote:I agree if someone actually worshiped a book they would be 'nuts'; but recognizing the spiritual or potential value in a particular writing is not the same as worshiping it, as not all books are created equal (in both intent and enlightenment of its authors), are they? When I say UNWITTINGLY I mean they are worshiping their holy books without realizing it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They will come off with their Bible or Koran like YOU come off with your Urantia book absolutely certain they are not worshiping the book ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Guest - 04-30-2014 ` ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 05-01-2014 There is something about the way YOU present the Urantia book that reminds me of the way the blind faith religious present THEIR holy books. You don't find me presenting books in such a manner, right? Books are great for reference, but I would never think that only one book has all the answers I'm doing research into the book now, but...well...okay there are mostly 5 star reviews at Amazon so I bought a copy. Maybe you did me a favor by presenting this book. I should not look down upon it because of a New Age artistic whack job ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 05-01-2014 So far I find the Urantia book to be another one of those 'take my word for it this is true' type of books and... I NO LONGER TAKE ANYONE'S WORD ABOUT ANYTHING!!!! I'm now only interested in books with immediately practical applications ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Littlepaw - 05-01-2014 I once read that it is the good reader that makes the good book. ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 05-01-2014 No need for any comments from me except to say: It seems poisoning the masses for financial profit is considered 'good business' by the government ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 05-01-2014 UPDATE: The more I watch the more I feel the need to comment. According to the documentary, even as the cigarette companies paid 'WHORE' scientists to provide scientific experiments in order to convince the masses that cigarettes were not addictive and actually good for you the companies using sugar to addict the masses banded together and hired 'WHORE' scientists to provide "EVIDENCE" and discredit ANYONE who was saying that sugar was bad for people and making them sick So, before you blindly believe ANY scientific investigations into ANYTHING first find out who is sponsoring the particular scientist FIND OUT WHO THEIR PIMP IS!!!
