((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 06-27-2014 ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 06-27-2014 THE NATURE OF TRUE WEALTH It has been said that the total number of consciousnesses in the Universe is...one. I believe that to be true. One consciousness expressed in forms that APPEAR separate. The sense of separateness is an illusion, but a very relentlessly compelling one indeed! Many are here on a vacation from having things easy in celestial realms. The particular lives we have chosen are in direct contrast to the existences we had before we decided to come to this realm for a short lifetime. The overall goal is to renew our sense of wonder so that when we return to where we were our appreciation will be renewed. Pleasure is not the reason why many have come here! If it was pleasure we wanted we would have stayed where we were. No, for many, the whole point of a life like this is THE PAIN!!! It's the pain for which many have come into this realm and the pleasures we may experience are like short rest periods between whatever sufferings we chose to endure as we initially set up and fully approved these lives. It takes tremendous determination to unlock the Secrets of the Universe. Most will have nothing to do with such an endeavor. They are perfectly content in their particular miseries and have no desire to have that misery interrupted with the truth. I respect such decisions and I know that no matter what is revealed to such people they will never accept it. At best they will laugh it all off as nonsense. That's as it should be...FOR THEM As for myself, I've decided that I want to enjoy the rest of my life as much as I possibly can before Mother Nature FINALLY shows how much She appreciates all those SCIENTIFIC nuclear tests and the various pollutions desecrating this planet THANKS TO SCIENCE!!! Yes, humanity will soon have a tremendous price to pay as Mother Nature gives humanity the proverbial 'bill' for the desecration of the Sacred Being known to humanity as planet Earth. My overall goal is to do my best to temporarily musically pacify an enraged Mother Nature while I do my best to live a life I am proud of for that is the nature of TRUE WEALTH!!! There are those who are tricked into thinking that true wealth is measured in dollars, cents and in gold and silver. Fact of the matter is EVERYTHING with a beginning and end is an illusion. The only true wealth anyone has is the wealth they take with them when the end this illusional life and face the oncoming time of eternity. True wealth is the product of as clear a conscience as possible and the certainty of a life well lived. If one can honestly say they left this world even a little bit better than when they came into it they will most probably be able to look forward to eternal rewards, if such rewards will be made available The basic way you judge others will be the same standards you will eventually use to judge yourself as you review your life. If, after reviewing your life, you honestly decide that you do not deserve to be rewarded even if rewards are offered you will not be able to enjoy them. HELL IS FOR THOSE WHO ARE ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN THEY DESERVE NO REWARDS AFTER THEY DIE Your money is an illusion! Supposedly, those in power are aiming towards micro-chipping the population, doing away with all other currency and putting all your money on the microchip; which I gather will be like some sort of micro-electronic flash drive. How the hell can they possibly do that? The only way is through typed and transmitted numbers. How much bloody gold can you fit in a microchip? I gather the exact same amount as can fit in a credit card. If all it takes is writing numbers then all those in power have to do is keep adding zeros to their own bank accounts and they can make themselves as rich as they bloody want!!!! NO! The only thing that is truly real is the part of you that has no beginning or end. That is the part of you still existing after you die. All the rest you will leave behind and your consciousness will eventually determine whether or not you deserve to be rewarded or punished! GOD WILL NOT JUDGE YOU IF ANY JUDGMENT IS TO BE MADE ((( YOU ))) WILL JUDGE YOURSELF!! And all your former money, whether a dollar or trillions will be worth nothing to you, except as reason for misery, if you judge yourself unworthy of eternal rewards because of how you obtained that money and how you lived your life. A wasted and squandered life is a terrible crime...against oneself! Blessed indeed are those who leave this world with as clear a conscience as possible for that is the nature of True Wealth ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 06-27-2014 "From the EMMY AWARD WINNING Producers of "The Mystery of the Sphinx" and the Producers of "The Mysterious Origins of Man" comes a new ground breaking film about "New Evidence of Early Man: SUPPRESSED." What happens when scientific evidence conflicts with theory? In the early sixties, discoveries were made in Central Mexico, which were the handiwork of early man. Exquisitely carved animal bones and advanced spear points caused much excitement, including a Life Magazine article, until the dates came in. 5 mutually exclusive geological tests revealed they were over 250,000 years old. In spite of the geochronology, archaeologists insisted the dates were too ridiculously old. This world-class archaeological region became off-limits for official research, a "professional forbidden zone." This is the story of the shocking events that occurred, told first-hand by many of the actual participants. It reveals how one field of science can conflict with another and how new discoveries must battle evidence vs. belief, exposing what some have called "the dark side of archaeology." MY COMMENT: It's amazing how far science will go to keep from being proven WRONG!!!! ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 06-27-2014 Out of curiosity I did some searching It seems they do not make these Fender Starcaster Stratocasters anymore!! I guess they felt they were too good for the price and were curtailing the sales of their expensive Fender Stratocasters some going for over $4,000.00!!!! There was just one black one left in stock at Amazon going for $144.00 WITH SHIPPING!!!!! I'll probably hate myself in the morning, but... I just couldn't pass it up ...considering they are obviously not made anymore ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 06-28-2014 ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 06-28-2014 The question is: Would I be willing to make an extra $194.98 investment to make the Starcaster sound like a Multi-Thousand-Dollar Fender Stratocaster guitar? http://www.amazon.com/Twilight-Fender-S ... Pickup+Set Hmmmmm...decisions, decisions... I mean, my biggest gripe with changing the pickups was having to do extensive pickup replacement work To just change the pickguard and solder a couple of wires Well, that doesn't sound bad at all!! Hmmm...is it worth it making a cheap guitar sound like a multi-thousand-dollar guitar Ya know...I THINK IT IS!!!!! THERE ARE MANY COMMENTS LIKE THIS AT MUSICIAN'S FRIEND: Comments about Fender Fat '50s Strat Pickup Set: The fat 50's are THE Holy grail. Once you put a set on one of your strats you'll be eagerly waiting for the next sale so you can buy more. I have 8 Strats, ranging from 60's through 2012 and these pickups smoke them all. All! The guitar with these on them has become the one I compare all of my other Strats to and I always go back to the Fat 50's. The bottom end is nice and fat but articulates well with no mud; the high end is stratty but is not brittle or thin like so many so-called "vintage" pups. They are responsive and nice and poppy like a good Strat should be. I am extremely fussy about my tone and have gone through a lot of pickups. These quench my thirst. Blues, rock, country, the tone is aways spot on for what you need. David Gilmour has got nothing on these pups. Buy them. You will look back on it as one of the best decisions you ever made. You won't want to put the guitar down. BOTTOM LINE Yes, I would recommend this to a friend http://www.musiciansfriend.com/accessor ... pickup-set MY COMMENT: Many say these particular pickups sound BETTER than the stock pickups on the multi-thousand-dollar Fender Stratocaster Guitars!! I'll be able to tell anyone who asks: Ah, it's just a cheap guitar. The only reason is sounds so good is that I'm a fantastic guitar player! Ha! The main thing I don't like about the Starcaster are the machine head tuners. They are not precise enough for my liking so: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/accessor ... ing-tuners Oh, ****! I can sense money once again being spent. Woe is me!!!! Let me tell you, I had to get somewhat drunk to order all this ****, and more, for both guitars!!! Ya know, (drunk) Mother Nature deserves the best I can afford, in my performances!!! Yup, I ordered them...drunk! ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 06-28-2014 Okay, if I'm going to make the investment in new tuners in order to keep the guitars better in tune then I might as well do the job right and buy these: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002KZEB8/ref ... 00_TE_item http://www.amazon.com/dp/B008XB188Q/ref ... 00_TE_item So I dun bought em' ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 06-28-2014 Sacateca wrote: I had to adjust this song pitch by 1.13 in order to have the song in proper tune I believe this is the only song Jimi Hendrix ever played where he uses a slide! Turns out I had to do much more adjusting than that!!! I still did not have the song accurately in pitch and I learned, the hard way, that Hendrix, on some songs, would tune his guitar ONE STEP LOWER This is one of those songs. So I had to bring the song from Eb to E then I had to fine tune it so that it will be in tune with a standard tuned guitar It took a crazy amount of time to get it right and I learned one major thing THE BIGGEST PROBLEM WITH THE FENDER STARCASTER GUITAR IS NOT THE PICKUPS IT'S THE TUNING!!!! SO THE NEW LOCKING TUNING MACHINE HEADS, THE NEW NUT AND STRING TREES ARE MUCH MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE PICKUPS ON THE STARCASTER GUITAR!! Oh, I also took out the middle part that I have never liked and always felt it ruined the beauty of the song You'll know that part I took out when you hear it "lazy minded fool" part ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 06-28-2014 Pretty cool trick!! ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 06-28-2014 This is also really impressive! ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 06-29-2014 http://www.electric-guitar-info.com/roller-nut.html Damn! I don't want to pay ANYONE to do the work on these guitars! I'm spending too damned much already MONEY I SHOULD NOT BE SPENDING!!! The photo-guide in the link should be very helpful Besides, I'd like to do an excellent job myself! Suddenly I remembered that Jimi Hendrix had the very same problem with his guitars going out of tune Jimi was always using super-slinky guitar strings Those strings are notorious for going out of tune!!! ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 06-29-2014 "Consider installing a Fender LSR roller nut, if you're a heavy whammy bar user, or just don't like the looks of the string tees on the headstock. This installation isn't just restricted to Fender guitars, it can be adapted to any guitar with with an inch and eleven sixteenths nut width, or close. The beauty of the roller nut design is its simplicity. Each string is suspended atop two ball bearings. The ball bearings don't necessarily move, rather they provide a small, slick, contact patch for the string to slide over. What I'm going to attempt to do here is show you the easiest way to install one of these. Meaning I'm going to use some real basic tools, and methods, to install the roller nut. I'm sure there are folks with all kinds of fancy tools, who could do the job faster, and easier. But that defeats the purpose, you don't want to spend more on tools than the roller nut itself, which by the way, can be found all over ebay for around forty bucks. The picture on the right shows the tools you'll need to perform this installation. Many of these you probably already have. Note the file, I purchased this at Walmart for Seven Bucks. You don’t need a cordless Milwaukee hammer drill either, any drill will do with a 1/16" bit. OK, First things first, remove the strings from the headstock of your guitar. The next step is up to you, I removed the neck from the guitar body, but if you’re not comfortable doing that, simply wrap the body with a clean towel and tape up. Using a utility Knife and a sharp blade, carefully score all the way around the nut. This ensures that you won’t take any wood with you when you remove the nut. Get your screw driver and a small tack hammer. Place the screwdriver against the nut and give it a gentle strike. It’s advisable to have someone hold the headstock while doing this. If no one’s around place the headstock up against a wall with a clean towel, clamp it, or just do what I do, wing it and hit the thing. The nut is held into place with a very small amount of glue. It will come out easily. All right, this is what you have left with the nut gone. Wild huh ?, now you know how Lance Armstrong feels. As a foot note this nut removal process is pretty much the same on any guitar with a bone/plastic nut. Take the directions out of the package along with the roller nut. Be careful not to lose the two small screws. The additional piece is not used unless your replacing a Wilkinson nut that was installed on some older Strats. With a small machinists ruler, which I neglected to show in the picture, measure the nut slot depth. Per the instructions, on each edge of the fretboard, you want to be .105 inches down. If you’re shallow file out the pocket, if you’re deep there are small shims included with the kit. Lay the roller nut in the existing pocket, and mark each end of the roller nut toward the guitar body. We need to remove .094" of material toward the guitar body to get the nut to fit. Once you’ve marked each side of the fretboard, lay your machinists ruler between the two marks and gently score with a knife. This step is probably not necessary but it isn’t a horrible idea. Once the fretboard is scored, tape to the score line with a double helping of masking tape. Tape to the center of the score line to be conservative. Once you get down to the proper depth make sure you're still strait down. You can see in the picture to the left that I had to file towards the body a little. It’s not a bad idea to try the nut in the groove. A snug fit is really the most desirable. Once you get the nut to snugly seat all the way to the bottom, it’s time to drill the holes. Remember to tape the bit so that you don’t go too deep. With the holes drilled remove the roller nut, blow away the saw dust, and give the edges of the nut pocket a really light sand with some 220 grit paper. Your pocket should look something like this. Now insert the nut and carefully install the two screws provided with the kit. I’d suggest a little bees wax or soap on the threads. With the roller nut seated tightly measure for proper reveal, and your done. As a footnote here’s a few things you should do once the nut is installed. Once you’ve re stringed the guitar check that the intonation is still right. You may also remove the string tees, and fill the string tee holes. If you do remove the tees, and don’t have locking tuners, make sure you add a few extra turns of wire to the tuner posts. Good Luck J." COMMENT: I intend to memorize this to the point where I can do it in my sleep while blindfolded! ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 06-29-2014 Okay, this video is also helpful However, he is installing a much wider roller type nut Why the hell he needs so much glue when the nut is held in place with screws is beyond me!! Also, I didn't see him drill any holes for the screws!!!!! He just seems to screw them into the neck without drilling any holes!!! AIE! YIE!! YIE!!!! I'm considering using a dremel rotary tool for much of the widening work and finishing it off with a file I don't think I will need to saw the poor guitar! ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 06-29-2014 What I do like about the above video is how he lines up the roller nut with the old nut to make absolutely certain the new nut holds the strings in the exact same place The guy didn't mention doing this in the other instructions I feel this is CRUCIALLY IMPORTANT!!! ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 06-29-2014 ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 06-29-2014 Well, I gave my first performance for Mother Nature using the Starcaster Eh, it's okay. Once you can stop your internal description of the world and hold that silence long enough you stand a chance of experiencing the self-awareness of the Universe. So, YOU have to make the effort to silence your preconceptions of what is or is not logical, or reasonable, or real. You must stop the world of your ingrained prejudices and biases that give your ego its sense of reality. Either make the sincere effort and PROVE to the universe that you really want to know whether or not the universe is self-aware or you will never know empirically. THERE ARE NO FREE RIDES WITH THE SPIRIT! If you expect the universe to give you some great revelation without making any effort beside arrogant demands it's most probably not going to happen. Unless you get the sign of atheist Christopher Hitchens which is...DEATH!!! ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 06-29-2014 A SHARED COMMENT: Especially in the modern Western world most have been psychologically programmed in the Bilderberg agenda schools. I believe it has been done in an insidiously secret way. The school teaches don't have much of a clue how they were deliberately trained to get children to blindly believe information at face value. I believe, as children, we were flooded with so much information we had no time to critically think about the **** we were forced to learn. THEY DON'T WANT US TO CRITICALLY THINK THEY WANT BLIND FAITH BELIEVERS!!! And so science has become the new religion for those who reject the concept of there being a God. The "prophets" of the science religion are people like Richard Dawkins and Sam Harris. They present evidence as though it is fact and the suckers believe it just as they once believed, FOR ABOUT 40 YEARS, the Piltdown Man was a genuine artifact demonstrating the evolutionary "missing link". No matter how I have tried I can't get those under the brainwashing to see the truth. And what is this truth: THAT THEY ACCEPT THE POSTULATIONS OF SCIENCE ON BLIND FAITH!!!! Just as they did not bother to PERSONALLY find out if the Piltdown Man was a genuine artifact they don't bother to personally verify most anything else science feeds to them as fact!!!
