((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 07-25-2015 Here's an interesting adaptation! I've been thinking about this version. The guy is a fantastic guitarist, but...well...he lacks presence emotions. Hendrix plays like his has a REALLY BIG DICK while this guy plays like he's trying to compensate for his really small dick. I don't think I can put it any better than that Eric Johnson has no projecting sex appeal and all the fancy notes he plays can't fully compensate for that fact Jimi Hendrix played from the core sexual aspect of his soul, and Hendrix played as though he was playing for his life Eric Johnson plays from his head. He's a fantastic guitarist, but... well...I dunno. It's hard to describe. He just doesn't connect like Hendrix did. He seems like a little, well off, white kid from a stable upper-class home. It's as though he hasn't suffered enough to really play the blues. Maybe I'm being too judgmental It's just that a part of me wants to play fast like he does. However, I'd rather play fast like I do AND I CAN PLAY VERY FAST!!! ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 07-25-2015 Here's an interesting adaptation! I've been thinking about this version. ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 07-25-2015 He's changed, but he used to look like the Hunchback of Notra-white boy-dame when he played I say, he still plays too much from the head and not enough from the crotch to be legendary famous ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 07-26-2015 Okay, I'll admit SRV really nailed it! I only saw SRV once in a big concert when I didn't know who he was. He had no stage presence that projected very far so I didn't pay much attention. THEN HE STARTED PLAYING VOODOO CHILD SLIGHT RETURN AND THE WHOLE AUDIENCE BECAME ELECTRIFIED!!! I WAS AMONG THEM AND WE ALL WENT NUTS!!! ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 07-27-2015 It's a difficult thing to try to understand why Jimi was a better guitarist than those who copied him. The John Mayer version of VooDoo Child is AWESOME!! However...what is it? I don't know, but SRV was a better guitarist and Jimi was better than SRV. I guess one of the main reasons is Jimi created a style of his own. The others...I don't know. Maybe I'm just being too judgmental, but I do know what I like JIM HENDRIX WAS THE BEST!!! ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 07-27-2015 ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 07-27-2015 Yesterday I ordered the Jimi Hendrix hat http://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000 ... ailpages00 ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 07-27-2015 The way this Jimi song starts has to be one of the greatest song openings in recorded rock history! ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 07-27-2015 First I've heard of Joe Bonamassa GREAT GUITARIST!!! However...he kind of looks like a walking dead vampire. His appearance suggests holding a briefcase instead of a guitar. Maybe he should grow his hair longer Get fashion tips from the dead Jimi Hendrix And paint his face brown ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 07-28-2015 I don't know about you, but I am NOT inspired to buy these guitar strings Seems to me only a knucklehead would buy them Made in the US of A? That I believe! ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 07-28-2015 Never did like the Flying V style guitar ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 07-28-2015 Okay, here's a video I can watch when I want to give myself encouragement that I am a better guitarist than Jimmy Page ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 07-28-2015 Jimmy Page plays much too sloppy for my tastes.I do like certain of his lead breaks like the ORIGINAL lead break in Good Times Bad Times. ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 07-28-2015 In the above concert Jimmy Page seems to feel that he made improvements to this classic lead break ((( NOT ))) ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 07-28-2015 AWESOME PROGRAM for learning lead breaks: http://www.ronimusic.com/amsldowin.htm ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 07-30-2015 In commemoration of a miraculous zero-point energy Tai Chi healing of my finger, that I almost chopped off doing yard work, I just purchased this Monoprice guitar. It is the last of the guitar styles I want in my collection There are no others that inspire me I intend to be playing this guitar, but it is mostly for looks The 13% store wide sale is going on NOW!!! Also, his style isn't unique enough to make him legendary like Hendrix, Clapton and Jimmy Page Also, I wouldn't pay that much for a guitar period!! ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 08-02-2015 I like him better now although... the guy has NO SEX APPEAL ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 08-02-2015 I wonder if Jeff Beck made Banamassa pay for lifting the beginning of his song from the Truth album. It's amazing how the mind works. I knew I heard that beginning before. I let the 'search engine' of my mind go a look for it and finally I remembered! I AIN'T SUPERSTITIOUS FROM THE JEFF BECK GROUP!! ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 08-02-2015 DAMN, HE'S OLD!!!!!! Oh wow, suddenly I feel old too!!! ((( The Practical Seer ))) - Sacateca - 08-02-2015 Damn!!! Was this really so long ago?
