Neither did I pity myself. Of course I do now, otherwise I wouldn't have written this thread. Obviously I am not impeccable by your standards. Your standards are irrelevant to me as they are yours. Mine are where they are with the energy I have on hand. You are quite welcome to help with your insight. Why quote another as though their credibility supersedes mine. It is a fact that once one has stored enough energy via training ones attention one can choose to be impeccable if one wants to in fact it becomes the easiest thing in the world. One can choose by intuiting/listening to ones heart, instead of forcing it as though one is suddenly a righteous being. As I speak and state my truth I feel no impact or pain in my heart for what I say or write. What I say is what I see. This is my truth which I must speak. Surely you know about speaking your own truth. Do you honestly say that only you can decide whether anothers' heart has distilled and weighed its emotional experience. Really the hardest thing in the world is to see what a complete **** one is, to embrace that knowledge and wake up to how deep in the **** one is, and to take that knowledge and do something about it. Of course that doesn't mean trying not to be an ****... Lujan Matus - Sacateca - 02-26-2015 I don't believe in 'The Gospel According to don Juan'. Pity is just fineas long as it automatically leads to actions of sympathy and/or compassion. I believe one should, generally, treat all of life as a gesture to The Spirit demonstrating how one wishes to be treated by The Spirit. When I sometimes give a 20 dollar bill to a homeless person I do so as a gesture to The Spirit; with tremendous gratitude that I am not homeless and can afford to be generous with the less fortunate. For a warrior, gestures of compassion are NOT done for the sake of the other person. They are done as a demonstration to The Spirit of how we want to be treated. The good we do tends to come back around eventually. So does the bad, for that matter. It's just when one sits around idly pitying oneself and humanity that pity become energetically toxic. I'll openly admit that I had to stop watching the daily news reports. It seems the mainstream media DELIBERATELY wants us to pity others! That's why they tend to report such pitiful stories! I rarely watch the news anymore and when I finally do what do I see? Different variations of the same old ****! PEOPLE NEVER SEEM TO LEARN!!!! They don't give a damn about me and my problems and guess what? The feeling is now casually mutual. I'd say that's fair enough. It keeps me out of depression so it works for me! The art of a sorcerer is to be outside of everything. How does a sorcerer accomplish that? A sorcerer must have developed a vehicle in which part of the sorcerers' awareness resides to truly be outside of everything. Do you have a voice of your own? Lujan Matus - Sacateca - 02-26-2015 CC's don Juan said that sorcery is a "dead-end street" I agree!! If the best you can conceive of is a don Juan world it's no wonder you are all screwed up!! Lujan Matus - Absyllyon - 02-27-2015 The 'wonder' is to see life from another vehicle; to be detached yet intrinsically part of the stream of life - that is wonder. I do NOT believe in 'the gospel according to don Juan' Lujan Matus - Senear - 02-27-2015 Sometimes it seems people go on and on about this guy. who cares. Hes just another meatbag, as the nagual bender might say. He has some organization, and developed a patented system. He has forums full of seekers, and those dreaming of being "seeked", and, naturally, needing to defend the relevance of that investment. Like anybody of any moderate spiritual attainment, he can project by virtue of other people embodying his concept and ascribing the events to him. He messed you over? That's probably you, you inner source touching fear. He healed your bunions? Again, probably your inner connection, and projecting onto that guy. Good or bad, a swooning presence or scary abuser, says more about the person in that moment, little about him, and little of actual importance beyond that inner context. sometimes i wonder, in general, and this includes me, if people really get it at all. There is room for collaboration and mutual growth, but any sort of guru good or bad, is actually the antithesis of supposedly what this is all about, and what one by all account should perceive if one looks hard enough, into the silence, without thought or belief of fear, what actually goes on. When it starts reading more like any conspiracy rant or "the big bad them", or a swooning proclamation of some great virtue or power, and worse yet, it actually seems that way on ones perception, its time for a serious reality check. Simple questions. What do i want? What do i think this is? what do i fear, and then check that against what one perceives, for a start. Lujan Matus - lightsoul - 02-27-2015 http://sorcery.yuku.com/topic/6029/Deat ... PAmZ2Ys1Ko That is some good solid advice. And with it the ego dies its thousand little deaths each day. Solid bullshit Lujan Matus - Billy - 02-27-2015 'Sack a SEE' is prolific with words-- I came here without knowledge of nagual or sorcery, but wholesome. That is ok. we will have to accept each others experience in this. A narcissist will protect his self importance at all costs. The idea of dying everyday is something that is repugnant to them.In my experience killing off the ego leads to gratitude which leads to faith and service to life, to oneness with the one life. Actually my leanings are more towards Gurdjieff. Lujan Matus - Sacateca - 02-28-2015 Properly silencing the internal dialogue puts the ego on 'hold' YOU NEED YOUR EGO to be able to get along and relate with everyone else's ego. You can't 'KILL' your ego and be able to function within an ego-maniacal society YOUR EGO IS WHAT MAKES YOU WHO YOU ARE IN SOCIETY To have one's self-importance under control is to have one's ego under control YOU NEED YOUR EGO AS A TOOL!! You don't need your ego as a wild, uncontrollable proverbial horse The solution is to 'tame the horse' NOT KILL IT!!! Lujan Matus - Absyllyon - 02-28-2015 I get that, understand that. Yes, the ego is needed in its form as a tamed 'horse'. Don't misunderstand me; I am not trying to kill myself or that which is good in me. I am generating gratitude. The ID cannot be silenced. Some awareness must reside in another vehicle to be silent. Anyway we will go on disagreeing about these things. |
