Where Seeing is matching what is inside with what is outside, Dreaming doesn't have that constraint.
When we Dream we perceive all the Emanations that objects possess and then interpret them according to rules we have learned as small children.
Dreaming like Seeing is energy as it flows in the universe being reflected through will and then being reflected by Talking to Reason where it is interpreted.
From the above diagram we see that one can either Dream the Tonal or the Nagual.
Our daily world is the Earth Dreaming us as we Dream the Earth.
Where Seeing is A=A,B=B,C=C, Dreaming is A=B,A=C,B=A,B=C,C=A,C=B.
Dreaming allows us to arrive at a picture of an object, and as we focus on only the emanations that preserve the interpretation of the object we have through the process of Skimming created a simplified construct that can be used over and over again whenever the same pattern is recognized.
Dreaming allows us to travel anywhere our Intent wants to go, and since direct knowledge of the Emanations present is not what we are after while we Dream, things can become as crazy as one wants.
Because of this potential Crazy factor in Dreaming, staying Sober throughout the experience is a must.
Dreaming is a source of information just like Seeing is a source of information and allowing the knowledge of other Dream Worlds to get lost in uncontrolled folly is a stupid waste of whatever time we have left to be alive.
