Modern Nagualism-What Happens After Death? - Nagual LoneWolf - 06-15-2012

I, being a practicer of Modern Nagualism believe this: Our living body will eventually succumb to organic death unless I can shift with my body intact to another world where and what effect I stay in it or am set loose in a different form. If I suffer the organic death, my double/spirit will rise out of my body and be drawn to this aware being that will fold me out and take me into itself with the belief it wants and consumes me/awareness. There is a rule however that some can avoid this fate by using enough personal power at the moment of death to shift into another world (same as above) past this aware power (God/Eagle) and escape. So a bit vague but that is my belief. Go as a double/spirit or go with the body where one most likely still drops the organic body and becomes the double/spirit in that other world. Is there more than that world to escape from? I would say yes and that there's nothing that says there are many worlds and thus a group going together would have an advantage of not having to find each other. So with that said, that is pretty much the death sequence of a warrior seeking freedom who believes and practices Nagualism. As I know there are approximately 660 members of this forum I would ask you what is your belief on what happens after your death? What do you believe happens after death ?

Modern Nagualism-What Happens After Death? - rosygyro - 06-15-2012

I have been on this forum for a while now.

My honest feelings, my own works words and perceptions of reality are this.

"Mankind is a series of interrelationships of energy fields"... although this phrase is used very often... "No man is an island".!

we all have mothers and fathers at some point.

we are all Born and we all die

we interact with others.

Ultimatley this "series of interrelationships of energy fields" has a strong element of FAMILY within it.

A nagual man can be an only child made orphan if he chooses... over time he will through his study of the unknown EMBODY the relationships of man within his tonal..

its a deep and broad lateral energetic empathy with life as it flows..

to understand the energy tie between son and mother, between father and daughter. between diametric strangers..

when a nagual man is SEVERED from the tonal.. he does not become just an ISLAND in the void... he is also HAMMERED into a concrete place between all living things.. a network he can never escape unless he betrays interrelationship of energy between beings. the madness of the nagual is to understand ALL PATHS.. the truth is that little girls have relationships with their mothers that a nagual man must embody in his energy! (this is insane) but also the basis that the nagual man can embody all four directions of the medicine wheel as well as embody the male and female aspects of it!

Within the deepest roots of the unknown origin of our world is a darkness almost as complete as the unknown future of our world! a VOID stream runs between the two making a super-strung BEAD of all of corporeal life.

when a man dies his tonal effects cave in on themsleves.. and the pattern they form on collapse catapults the deceased into their next incarnation.

the ancient totec priests used human sacrifice to collapse subjects tonals in specific ways in order to envision their society as well as guide the "already dying sacrifice"along a purer destiny route!

A leap to infinity cannot be made easily.

the vast majority of people will leave cataclysmic rifts in the lives of their loved ones as their energeticly overempowered form tries to retain totality after death!

the only ethical way is to embody the entire family interrelationship and find a direction it evolves as a whole in... then shrinking the awarness to a single shard.. to slipstream along thAT PATH!.. IN THIS way those left behind will have an orientation in their memory of you.. and not a gaping wound where you tore yourself away into the unknown.

the eagle will also move along the same path as the evolution of man.. so who knows maybe it will let the shard through....

the farside of the eagle is not this realms concern.

harm no-one with your passing! cept leave a riddle in the dream!

No, its exact.

Now correct textual Buddhist/Yogic thanatological description/comment ad NLWs post here

1) man dies physically loosing consc., all the conciousness and energies are gone from the physical body ("The Dark Sea of Awarenes/Eagle sucks up your consc.")

then

2) man wakes up in his/her energy body (soul) - here have you time to *escape* if you have power for that, or you will loose consc. second time...

ordinary man does so, e.g. he/she sees that he/she is a ghost, has no reflection in a mirror, his/her family and friends dont see and hear him/her anymore etc and thus realizes that is he or she is dead, get a shock from that and loose consc. second time...

3) and thus enter the next phase of intermediate state (tib. bardo) where his/her stream of consc. is tranformed in the gateways... briefly e.g. ending up in another womb, egg, moisture in physical realms or raising up as a ghost, demon, martyr in hell, titan, semi-god, God, any other IB or being, or as a pure consc. being in arupa-dhatu realm. it depends how..

if you dont *leave* via third attention at 1) with totality of yourself (one becomes special bright IB, holding ones awareness, toltec nagual total freedom), then you go with your energy body as a ghost, i.e. you are a mere ghost then as any other ghost via 3)

Modern Nagualism-What Happens After Death? - scout1 - 06-16-2012

Nagual sorcerer Castaneda is wrong in the next because toltec seers do not see further into the intermediate state.. "the cyclicity of awarenes" or dependent origination at phase 3)... soul does not exists, but the stream of consciousness (samtana, santana) continues and is transformed... this is seen by Yogic/Buddhist seers who have another type of seeing not upholded by the toltec sorcerers-seers

The Survival Of The Assemblage Point (from Armando Torres: Encounters with Nagual: conversations with CC)

Although Carlos frequently mentioned the topic of death, he avoided talking about what

happens after a person dies. This occasion seemed like a good opportunity to investigate his

opinion on it.

"Carlos," I asked him, "what happens to us when we die?"

"It depends," he answered. "Death touches us all, but it is not the same for all. Everything

depends on one's energy level."

He assured me that the death of an ordinary person is the end of his journey, the moment

when he has to return to the Eagle all the awareness he obtained while alive.

"If we don't have anything else than our life force to offer it, we will be finished. That kind of

death erases any feeling of unity."

I asked him if that was his particular opinion, or part of the traditional knowledge of seers.

He answered:

"It is not an opinion; I have been on the other side and I know. I have seen children and adults

wandering over there and I have observed their efforts to remember themselves. For those

who dissipated their energy, death is like a fleeting dream, filled with bubbles of steadily

fading memories, and then nothing."

"Do you mean that when we dream, we approach the state of the dead?"

"We don't just approach it, we are there! But since the vitality of our body remains intact, we

can return. To die is literally a dream.

"You see, when an ordinary person dreams, he is not able to focus his attention on anything;

he doesn't have anything but his fragmented memories, fed with experiences he has

accumulated in the course of his life. If that person dies, the difference is that his dream

lengthens and he doesn't wake up again. It is the dream of death.

"The journey of death can take him to a virtual world of appearances, where he will

contemplate the materialization of his beliefs, of his heavens and private hells, but nothing

else. Such visions start disappearing in time, as the impulses of memory wear out."

"And what happens to the souls of those who die?"

"The soul doesn't exist, what exists is energy. Once the physical body disappears, the only

thing left is an energy entity fed by memory.

"Some individuals are so oblivious of themselves that they die almost without realizing it.

They are like people with amnesia, people who have a blockage of the assemblage point and

can no longer align memories, they don't have any continuity; as such , they feel permanently

on the brink of oblivion. When they die, those people disintegrate almost instantaneously; the

impulse of their lives only lasts for a few years at the most.

"However, most people take a little longer disintegrating, between one hundred and two

hundred years. The ones who had lives full of meaning can resist for half a millennium. The

range expands even more for those who were able to create bonds with masses of people; they

can retain their awareness during entire millennia."

"How do they achieve that?"

"Through the attention of their followers. Memory creates bonds among live beings and those

who have left. That's how they stay aware. And that's why cults of historical personalities are

so pernicious. That was the intent of those who, in the past, were mummified: To preserve

their name in history. Ironically, it is the greatest damage that can be inflicted on energy. If

you seriously want to punish a person, bury him in a lead casket; his confusion never ends.

"It doesn't matter what he does or how he has lived; an ordinary person doesn't have the

smallest chance of continuing ahead. For sorcerers who live facing eternity, five years or five

millennia are nothing. That's why they say that death is instantaneous disintegration."

I wanted to know if dead people can return to contact the living.

He answered:

"Relationships among residents of various spheres of awareness can only be made through the

alignment of the assemblage point. Death is a final perceptive barrier. Living people can go to

the realm of the dead through dreams, but that is the kind of thing a warrior won't enter into,

because it only wears away his energy. Something very different, on the other hand, it is to

contact sorcerers who have left."

"Why?"

"Because they were able to reach their energy double, and retained their individuality through

their techniques."

"How can we enter into relationships with that kind of awareness?"

"In dreaming. However, it is very difficult for a sorcerer who has already left to fix his

attention on this world, unless he has some specific task to complete, and it is even more

difficult for an ordinary man to support that contact.

"Interaction with these beings is gratifying for warriors, but terrifying for others, because an

inorganic sorcerer is not a ghost, but an intense source of aware and implacable energy, able

to damage those who come near him through recklessness. That kind of contact can be even

more dangerous than an exchange with a live sorcerer."

"What does the danger consist of?"

"It is the nature of energy. If you believe sorcerers are friendly people, you are mistaken; they

are naguals!

"There is a very morbid feature in our constitution that impels us to use any means necessary.

It is something natural, we cannot avoid it. That feature is exacerbated in a sorcerer, and

magnified after his departure, because there are no longer any inhibitions to counteract it.

When the sorcerer becomes inorganic, he returns to what he always was: A cosmic, predatory

emanation."

Samsaro = the process of creating worlds and travelling them.. samsara, wandering on, the ocean of birth and death (ocean of awareness)

mindstream = http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mindstream

Its a Definitive journey for every human being, i.e. journey on Eternity..

Inconsistency of this primer can cleared by looking at Egyptian thanatological description... e.g. Ka and Ba component, or its even 6-fold or 9-fold component.. you can look it up. the importants are the components of a) spirit, b) physical consciousness, c) memory and d) energy body (and energy body has its components), now in the death, some components are discontinued (physical awareness), some are continued in the consc. stream ruled by the "12fold-dependent origination law": paticcasamuppāda, and some are left - in the case of human being.. the Shade, memory... this is not so clear here the continuing stream vs. the memory shade left, e.g. the asphodel meadows, or "these souls forgotten by God in the Sheol (Hades)". The Maya were specialists on these phenomena.. they made models of the afterlife landspaces after the phase 3), even the models of incubators of unborn human souls and the cyclicity (all the codexes expect of 2 were burned by Diego da Landa on Yucatan), they were describing the cosmotopology and afterlife landscapes from their reach of knowledge), so as Nagual Castaneda says "it depends on your energy level and knowledge", but thanks to Yoga/Buddhism we have the full-scale cosmology model

CC avoids and highlights .. then he fogs it (he could not know..), yet he is correct, the ordinary death is an end of one life..

dont forget, never forget that CC is not a full truth on Reality :-)

The cyclicity is the term for that.. if you would see cyclicity, you would also see the intermediate states, for that, you would need higher knowledge, a knowledge toltec seers did not have... they were not focused (with their seeing) on that, they were focuced on the Nagual-Eagle/Rule

Cyclical Beings

Before I met Carlos, influenced by my oriental readings, I had been in favor of the doctrine of

reincarnation. It seemed a logical alternative to the Christian belief in the resurrection of the

body. However, in one of his conversations, he observed that the dogmas of Christianity and

of the Eastern religions were suspiciously similar, because they start from a common

denominator: The fear of death.

His comment threw me into a slate of perplexity. It was a totally new focus on something that

had always fascinated me.

When I asked his opinion, Carlos tried to deviate my interest to another topic, as if it were not

worthwhile to speak of that matter. But later, changing tactics, he told me that all my beliefs

about the survival of the personality were the result of social suggestions.

"They have told you that we have time, that there is a second opportunity. Lies!

"Seers affirm that a human being is like a drop of water that separated from the ocean of life

and began to shine by itself. That shine is the point of assembling perception. But, once the

luminous cocoon is dissolved, individual awareness disintegrates and becomes cosmic. How

could it return? For sorcerers, each life is unique, but you are hoping to repeat it?

"Your ideas originate in the high opinion you have of your own unity. But, like everything

else, you are not a solid block, you are flowing. Your 'me' is a sum of beliefs, a memory;

nothing concrete!"

I asked him why religions preach their very different doctrines. He

answered:

"It is easy to understand; they are answers to the ancestral fears of human beings. Each culture

generated its own explanatory propositions, but only seers were beyond beliefs, corroborating

those aspects of emanations of the Eagle for themselves."

He explained that there are energy clusters in the universe, to which we are hooked like the

beads of a rosary are hooked to each other. We are cyclical; we are the result of a luminous

stamp, and every time a new being is born, he embodies the nature of that pattern. But the

chain that unites us is not of a personal nature; it doesn't imply transfers of memory or

personality, or anything like that.

"To survive death, it is necessary to be a sorcerer. By satisfying the Eagle with a living

replica, sorcerers are able to keep the flame of their individual awareness burning for

eternities. But that is a feat. Do you think this greatest achievement of a warrior should be a

free gift?"

I commented that recent studies had demonstrated that some people, under very special

circumstances, are able to remember events of a past life.

He insisted that it was an erroneous interpretation of facts.

"It is true that anyone can tune in to certain living emanations that look place in other times,

and feel that he has lived not only one, but many lives. But that is only one alignment among

millions of possible alignments."

The Sorcerer's Alternative

I asked him if an ordinary person has any chance of surviving death.

He answered that there is always one possibility: The way of the warrior.

Modern Nagualism-What Happens After Death? - scout1 - 06-17-2012

The Highest Supreme State (Fusion with Absolute) is in phase 1)

or you go thru gateways 2).. and 3)

at 3) you have the interdependent origination, or cyclicity

So the Nagual-Eagle/Rule/power structure is one thing, and cyclicity/the interdependent origination is another

I have often contemplated that the Eagle maybe a gate to this heaven Mornings Son speaks and the folding (which I have seen) of the being makes it ready to enter the 'beak.'

Modern Nagualism-What Happens After Death? - glance left - 06-19-2012

Moment of death maybe something like this:

Darkness, then flashes of color..then intense and complete surge into second attention state in which a multiplicity of options...venues for perception...dreaming worlds so to speak... press in around individual...beckoning...becoming available...and individual now doesn't have 1st attention..physical attention...as a refuge...an anchor...so the dreamer is unmoored so to speak and thus compelling forces will have immediate impact upon dreamer without that previous buffer we've all gotten used to relying on to bail us out If sufficient detachment/energy is cultivated then dreamer has a kind of overseeing vantage point to be able to choose...to have some conscious input into what one wants in terms of perception. If not, then the aggregate of one's personal history chooses for them, for better or for worse...the all engulfing world experienced representing the essence of what's been cultivated in the life (or lives?) of the dreamer. For the most detached and integrated, maybe all options available, plus the ability to inhabit with some cohesion a purely abstract, inbetween state...a state in which just pure fractalising light/emptyness multi-potential energy-that-is-aware exists which precipitates all dreamed worlds. The Sea. So maybe if one can fully release, in full power, to the Sea then one can inhabit any island in the Sea? Something along these lines.

Apart from these fleeting hunchy thoughts, I really have no fucking clue WHAT's gonna happen after death

DJ Fire From Within:
He said that the old seers, being the masters of awareness, applied their expertise to their own glows of awareness and made them expand to inconceivable limits. They actually aimed at lighting up all the emanations inside their cocoons, one band at a time. They succeeded, but oddly enough the accomplishment of lighting up one band at a time was instrumental in their becoming imprisoned in the quagmire of the second attention.***
„The new seers corrected that error,” he continued, „and let the mastery of awareness develop to its natural end, which is to extend the glow of awareness beyond the bounds of the luminous cocoon in one single stroke.
„The third attention is attained when the glow of awareness turns into the fire from within: a glow that kindles not one band at a time but all the Eagle’s emanations inside man’s cocoon.”
Don Juan expressed his awe for the new seers’ deliberate effort to attain the third attention while they are alive and conscious of their individuality.
He added that at the moment of dying all human beings enter into the unknowable and some of them do attain the third attention, but altogether too briefly and only to purify the food for the Eagle.

„The supreme accomplishment of human beings,” he said, „is to attain that level of attention while retaining the lifeforce, without becoming a disembodied awareness moving like a flicker of light up to the Eagle’s beak to be devoured.”

(nemo) Anybody reading my words now, is an assemblage point.
A thrust of energy, an accumulation of moments through a furrow of time. Normal
death is the end of the sense of the individual self.

Picture your life experience as a holographic movie that
your soul is experiencing, and when you die a normal death your soul is akin to
a person leaving the movie theater, it picks up the experience looks for the
next life (Holographic movie) experience because checking experiences out is
the universes gig. The eagle likes to experience itself through you and you are
the eagle.

The universe every so often creates, and it may be an
anomaly lol a furrow of time that accumulates or saves enough energy and or knowledge to withstand the pressure of, (I suppose you could
say pure light). This is best done before your body starts to fail, and is
called in Toltec terms the third attention.

So you have a few options.
***
quagmire of the second attention.***

This is the problem in putting a lot of stock in dreaming!

well here an interesting point.
with the medicine wheel and four directions of warriors..
one direction is the easterly nagual man.
his presiposition is toward "potential energy" of the future
and of not doing- random brekage of pattern in the present.
there is virtually no need for a memory of events..
as an energetic truth of totality can be found through alignment with totality of the east.(afterall the future is the only unknowable part of manifestation)
the minds re-cap is contained within this energetci alignment,, but really doesnt need to be understood in life..
an easterly nagual if aligned properly before the midlife turn..
can get alzheimers or any other mind degradation disease and still catapult his awarness past the eagle..
quite simply the disease of the flesh becomes a NOT doing.

If you can recall when DJ left the world it was a time of his choosing. If you look at reality a little differently and see that an increase in personal power is an increase in the frequency that the assemblage point is attuned to, some phenomena that is not available to the first attention can and will come into play. Much like radio channels other worlds are all around us and it is the tuner "you" that can move into other worlds. Instead of looking at it as another place/world look at it as you tuning in another world while you are stationary, much like the radio can stay in the same place, yet that's not the important part, its just another way to look at reality.
What is escaping the eagle is the current personality, when the apprentices jumped over the cliff, a different possibility opened up on the way down and that was breaking the fixation of the this particular timeline not death but the breaking of ones continuity, not the continuity of awareness, but the continuity of spacial alignment,

I
ordered steak and eggs, hash browned potatoes, and buttered white toast. When
she went away to fill my order, another wave of horror flooded my mind: Had it
been only an illusion that I had jumped into that abyss in Mexico, at twilight
the previous day? But even if the jump had been only an illusion, how could I
have returned to L.A. from such a remote place only ten hours later? Had I
slept for ten hours? Or was it that it had taken ten hours for me to fly,
slide, float, or whatever to Los Angeles? To have traveled by conventional
means to Los Angeles from the place where I had jumped into the abyss was out
of the question, since it would have taken two days just to travel to Mexico
City from the place where 1 had jumped.
My
continuity was now broken beyond repair. I had really died, one way or another,
at the bottom of that gully. It was impossible to comprehend my being alive,
having breakfast at Ship's. It was impossible for me to look back into my past
and see the uninterrupted line of continuous events that all of us see when we
look into the past.

Nemo I get it. There are different events that can happen at death or at the moment of choosing. Once I stood at night within the wall of fog while before me was a bridge to another world. The bridge led up to the stars. I was going to leave this world fully intact but then decided to stay for I was young then and didn't want to go alone. I spoke aloud my intent to stay and the bridge faded into a mist and I returned to the earth. Thus I know what you mean Nemo, been there. My leading question was to invoke responses to what others believe or want to believe in this the study of Modern Nagualism.

If You read the Active Side of Infinity carefully, its pretty clear whats the effect of recapitulation.... InfinityI am not remoteley worried i will get nowhere!
when i have an anuerism i will not be locked the wrong side of my mind!
when i have a stroke.. my mask will be the shape i always wore!
I am aligned... and intrinsicly.. NOT creating a totality of mind!
The mind is the first thing to go!
recapitulation is energetic... the mind is forced to percieve it.. even in the absence of a functioning physical brain!
I am talking of energetic alignment to facillitate a truthfull recap!
photographic memory is one thing and it is flawed!

Modern Nagualism-What Happens After Death? - nemo.primeradiant - 06-25-2012

Nagual LoneWolf wrote:Nemo I get it. My leading question was to invoke responses to what others believe or want to believe in this the study of Modern Nagualism.Cool,  Thx for staying. Sometimes when I read your words it reveals what you know not believe, sometimes not.
Scout, my recommendation to anyone is the incremental movement of the AP not jumping.
