Yes I feel more connected to the Nagual when I do. Theres a good size river where Im at, and sometimes I drive up there and sit by the river, and just watch it flow. On my days off, I get out of my place and take long walks just to be outside. I have to get outside, I dont do well staying indoors. I like to watch the birds fly over head, the bees in the flowers, even the flies can interest me! Maybe I like flying things. I like the way the air smells, I like to go outside and 'breathe.' I feel more alive that way.

I cannot agree more and am much the same way. Here where I live in the Sonoran Desert of southern Arizona summer is coming. Temps will climb to 105 and more and stay that way for the next five months. The monsoons will come in July and August. Outside is a rough place but one learns to exist in it. Sounds, smells, sight is different in the desert. Everything is accented. A perfect place to seek the nagual spirit.

Yeah im from Arizona so I know what the desert is like, and I moved four years ago to a desert in Washington. Though its much milder cause we have a river, lots of rain, wind. Snow too a little bit. Luckily not too much, though a couple years ago we did have a really bad snow day, which shut down many businesses out here. I had to stay at home from work for a couple of days. I do miss the monsoon seasons in Arizona though. A lot of power in them, very impressive. And the Arizona sunsets. Out here the sunsets are much milder. But in Az they were glorious - like the sun was sitting on the edge of the world during those times!

I have never been to your part of the USA Datura. I hope one day to journey to Northern Calif to see the redwoods. True the sunsets here are truly inspiring.
