The Power of Group Intention - Intentwielder - 06-09-2013

A party of sorcerers has one big advantage over lone practitioners. This was, to my knowledge, never mentioned by DJ in any of CC's books. This advantage, this power, can be called many names; “collective consciousness”, “group mind”, “synergy” and others. In fact, ANY group of persons with similar intention will find that not only are their feelings resonant with one another, but that their group energy and power is far greater than any one individual among them. Even this forum is a group consciousness of sorts, due to the similarity of focus, and intent of those present.Intent can be employed toward any given end, as you know. But what if it is employed for the sake of boosting our fellow practitioners? What then can be accomplished in tandem, which any one individual might have difficulty achieving?

The Power of Group Intention - glance left - 06-13-2013

Intentwielder...its totally true! I've seen it first hand again and again. It is a truly powerful phenomenon when a group gets together to interact with a common goal...especially with goals as lofty as enhanced awareness and freedom of awareness at the forefront. The tricky part is dealing with the darker aspects of human interaction....the foreign installment. Warriors interacting are warriors who are struggling to dispense with the mental invader...and its not uncommon that the mental invader gets the upper hand in terms of inflamming group tension and in-fighting. I've seen that first hand too...lol...over and over again

The Power of Group Intention - Intentwielder - 06-13-2013

Yes, the power of group focus can even be seen in a typical office setting.  It's interesting how "person to person psychic effects", as common as they are, are rejected by most persons as ludicrous in this society.  Of course, by "psychic" I mean the energetic relations we have with our fellow humans and the environment in general.

As for psychic intrusions by outside influences, (presumably you mean "flyers") those too could be dealt with competently by group intention.  Even the decaying state of world consciousness (fear and pain) is an intrusive force that is powerful, rendering significant influence on practitioners, yet it too can be shielded against on a joint basis.

What you pointed out about the human condition is hard to over-emphasize. Self importance, (ego) is surely the biggest stumbling block to group success of anything mentioned so far.  My hope is that groups and individuals will realize the vast potentials for the mutual employment of intent, and be inspired to overcome personal issues.  Group intention can be used to gain energy (chi), raise vibration, increase clarity and even levels of consciousness to phenomenal degrees.  I believe it could also be used to initiate the third attention/"fire from within" if that is the sincere and unbending intent of those focusing together.  There are countless examples in CC's books which describe the boosting intent of DJ and DG among others, for the sake of their apprentices, and in a variety of ways.  If practitioners would explore that potential by boosting each other, (intending advantage(s) upon one another) the results would have far-reaching consequences.

Mutual intent creates a "reciprocating field" of effect between practitioners that is cumulative...

The Power of Group Intention - glance left - 06-16-2013

Agree with everything above, IW. Having a group dynamic applied to this goal uwnaveringly is a potent boon for everyone involved in that dynamic. However, if the dynamic breaks down...as it often does...then the warriors involved will have to choose how to continue navigating on their own. Perhaps to find another group to join..perhaps to simply struggle alone. Either way, the source of unbending intent should come from within But I agree...true collaborative efforts from warriors with warriors' hearts are by far the best option

The Power of Group Intention - Guest - 06-16-2013

"If practitioners would explore that potential by boosting each other, (intending advantage(s) upon one another) the results would have far-reaching consequences."

Yes, seeing the best in fellow warriors, sifting the river's sand to extract the gold nuggets within. Being patient too as all are waging a battle for reclaiming inner silence. Those that achieve it by greater degrees can help those struggling, by intending in the way you suggested Intentwielder. The continually expanding end results are a boost for all.

The Power of Group Intention - Intentwielder - 06-16-2013

Glance Left and Ravenmoon, your resonance is appreciated.

It's good to see so many people here who are obviously very knowledgeable and of progressive focus.  It is just such an intent that could create a successful party of practitioners.

What three things would each of you emphasize the most upon forming such a party, (and why)?

The Power of Group Intention - glance left - 06-19-2013

1. Inner silence, 2. dreaming and 3. collaborative self stalking

The Power of Group Intention - Guest - 06-20-2013

Keeping relevant topics on forefront of group discussions and activities, topics particularly the ones Glance listed above, and emphasizing action and practical application of. Sharing the example of ones own experiences and collaborating with others.

The Power of Group Intention - Intentwielder - 06-20-2013

Glance....interesting reply, especially "collaborative self stalking". I'd like to hear more about that. It sounds similar to the first choice on my list;
1)  Self realization/knowledge...the warriors' path.
2)  Inner silence/meditation... "no thought" as I like to call it
and,
3)  the mastery of intent

I was tempted to put inner silence first.  I didn't though, due to some experiences with meditation groups I've had, where even long-term members did not exhibit any particular self knowledge.  Given this lack they were merely dogmatic rather than wise, displaying little merit without an external regimen to provide daily structure to their practice.

It was also tempting to put the mastery of intent first, as everything else ultimately hinges upon it.  I say that because not only do we wield intent, we ARE intent at the innermost core of the self, (thus the merit of self realization).  As I see it, the warriors' path, (lifestyle and daily focus upon items of true importance) prepares the way for inner silence to flourish. Inner silence then prepares the way for the greater mastery of intent, with such practices as dreaming and stalking being a close fourth....

The Power of Group Intention - spiderlily - 06-22-2013

Nice thread.  Do you think it would be wise or important to differentiate intent from intention here?  Just wondering.

The Power of Group Intention - Intentwielder - 06-22-2013

To differentiate intent from intention....I'd certainly like to hear what you have in mind there.  Anything that clarifies intent(ion) is a plus

The Power of Group Intention - glance left - 06-22-2013

IW....collaborative self stalking is self stalking in which group interaction is part of the process Could be a scenario where members of the group give each other tasks to endeavor throughout the week to stalk oneself....to hone in on oneself via an aspect of awareness in an applied specific situation. Or, another example, what Cleargreen has done in the past with witnessing techniques....where practitioners get together to share instances where their "buttons were pushed" and they reacted...where the FI "got" them, so to speak In the process of sharing, new solutions for self stalking are arrived upon which apply to those scenes...new ways to "re-dream' the scene so that repetative reactive patterns don't recur over and over again.

The Power of Group Intention - Intentwielder - 06-23-2013

GL, I seem to recall DJ saying that, "stalking is the use of surreptitious behavior for the sake of shifting the assemblage point" (and dismantling self importance).  Doing that in tandem, especially in a party setting I sense, could be quite valuable.  Perhaps you could quote a specific example of personal/mutual stalking that could crystallize this for me further.

Regarding mutual focus, here's a few observations.  The human being is analogous to a multi-frequency transceiver, one that is constantly sending and receiving at the behest of intent...

In the meditation group setting it can be readily felt that the collective "space" (felt vibe and mutually created field) is generally of a much richer and deeper quality, than with most individual meditations. Not only that, but it is noticeably easier to be internally silent and of high, restful feelings body-wide, when others are similarly focused.  Most meditation groups don't realize it, but what they are experiencing is the power of their group intention in resonant accord.

The opposite effect is also true.  When you have a roomful of hostile or chaotic people, this also becomes a collective effect that makes it MORE difficult to be internally silent and of a high state.  In this case, what you've got is dissonant discord.  Warriors are well advised to keep in mind the chaotic and dissonant nature of the "world vibe" today, as it is antithetical to inner silence.  Psychic self protection from those fields at large, created by an entropic humanity, are a real plus.  Groups of practitioners can be especially adept at shielding such effects out for each other.

On the other hand it is good to be able to do this independently as well...

The Power of Group Intention - glance left - 06-24-2013

IW, thanks for that DJ quote. I agree with it, but then again I don't think that's they only way to stalk oneself. Another way is to simply become inwardly silent and stalk those moments when we are diverted from that silent core state from within which impeccability naturally flows...and then take steps to prevent the diversion from happening when it starts to happen.

One example of a kind of mutual stalking, from my distant past, involves the witnessing technique I mentioned previously. I got together with another warrior to stalk a certain scene in which my buttons were pushed...my self importance was inflamed...my FI was activtated. The scene itself involved a time when I was working in carpentry. I and another carpenter I worked for were undertaking some repairs on a woman's house. The house itself was quite luxurious, stationed in one of the wealthier neighborhoods in Southern California were I lived at the time. I remember being friendly with the owner towards the beginning of the job, making some gesture of greeting after which I felt she kind of snubbed me during the exchange. When she did that, I reacted inwardly with a barrage of negative feelings bolstered by negative thoughts about her, one of which was that she was a "snobby rich ****!" I remember that thought specifically LOL. The thoughts themselves cropped up concurrently with a feeling of bodily muscular tension...kind of like coiling down or hunching over very subtly...with a darkening of my awareness/perception of everything else going on around me via this disruptive, flickering, cloak-like sensation over my head (that's the FI active...that darkening feeling over the head/awareness....WHOA! Huge bolt of lightening with crack of thunder RIGHT NOW just outside the window where I'm working! Just as I typed that last line! ). That reaction to the lady kind of ruined my day, ushering in the dialog which kept me preoccupied for hours afterwards.

With the witnessing technique, I got together with another warrior and recapped that scene to him..describing everything going on in the scene both with my inner dialog...the whole "rich ****" diatribe ...and my bodily reaction...curling up with bodily muscular tension. In the practise, after recounting the scene and my bodily feelings, the warrior doing the "witnessing"....the one listening to my story...asked me to repeat the position of bodily tension...to adopt that position. Doing so brought the scene back more vividly with all those nasty thoughts. Then the witness asked me to take a breath and release all that bodily tension associated with those negative thoughts which transpired in that scene...and when I did that, the thoughts dissipated and a more expansive, fresh, "enlightened" perspective was allowed to shine through that space that I opened up by unraveling/releasing my bodily position. Thoughts that the woman was likely just preoccupied with some thoughts about some issues going on in her life...maybe with her older kids who were with her at the house those few days. That's why she wasn't as responsive to my greeting...I mean I do the same thing sometimes when I have a lot on my mind, don't I? And even if she is a "rich ****" acting dismissively, it's hardly her fault, entirely. People get conditioned into such states of existence the same way I got conditioned into mine....by the predation of the FI forcing us into ridicuous, petty behavior. And I've got a chance to change...to have some freedom. Maybe she doesn't have the same chance right now....therefore I should be more tolerant...more forgiving when people act harshly. I would want the same for myself...because I've acted harshly myself plenty of times. Those kinds of thoughts came into that silent space...and those thoughts allowed me to release my grip on that scene. Let go of lingering resentment, which has energetic implications.

So, all that fresh, clear, expansive insight came flooding into the open space of my body......the open space of the silence that the body position of alignment helped to foster with that witnessing technique. So that's one example of a mutual self stalking. In that technique, one stalks the body position of alignment with Spirit...with Intent. To see how opening channels to allow for free flow of energy helps to open up to broader more expansive insights...and how this in turn, lends itself to seeking to remain in that state of alignment....which is unbending intent...which is inwardly silent....which leads to impeccability. So really, for me, stalking is more about stalking that inward shift towards alignment....instead of engaging in surreptitious behavior to help break down old behavior, although this is a perfectly valid approach as well, as was proven by the old sorcerers.

The Power of Group Intention - Intentwielder - 06-24-2013

Some practical and useful thoughts there GL, and I will contemplate them in detail.  What you said about your experience in California also implies a great deal about the body, and in gaining greater inner silence. I'll address those subjects in your thread about inner silence/Awareness.

***

It's interesting to note that whenever two or more people are gathered together in common purpose, (similar intention) they automatically develop a “group mind” that aligns their forces. We've all seen examples of that in daily life...at work, music concerts, sporting events, meetings, relationships and rallies of all kinds, etc. But when two or more PRACTITIONERS gather in like intent, something much more profound can happen. Those who would employ intent consciously, are of course far more powerful in their effect, than those who use it only at a subconscious level. Dreaming together is an example of effective group intention. But even more powerful still, is when warrior-practitioners actually use their intent for mutual benefit. They may for instance intend greater energy upon each other. They may aid each other in their recapitulations, in their vibrational level, in their degree of clarity and awareness...the possiblities are without limit. Here' the scientific explanation for this as I see it. Let's say as few as two practitioners meet to “elevate” or “raise” each other, via any, “Path with heart”. The first practitioner intends that the second gain energy, (aka “draw chi” from the environment...they may use a visualization like incoming lightning bolts to enhance this intention). This immediately initiates a flow of subatomic particles to the second person, which is experienced as an influx of increasing vitality and keen awareness. Then the second practitioner who is now boosted/raised, sends that same intent back again to the first person. The first practitioner is then boosted, not only because of the second persons intent, but BECAUSE OF THEIR OWN INITIAL INTENT BEING SENT BACK TO THEM. Energy or “chi” is now traveling between the two in a reciprocating and mutually reinforcing loop. A two-way resonant field is then established that can be exponentially built upon, for very potent, mutual effects. Now if you add a third practitioner employing the same intent for the other two, the effects are increased by an order of magnitude. This is what you might call, “right use of the group mind principle”.

The Power of Group Intention - Intentwielder - 07-16-2013

This follow-up post was generated due to a comment on another Castaneda forum, regarding the same post;
There are several specific focuses
which could be employed, but of course these will take some time to
explain as they are rather involved.

Generally speaking though, groups of
practitioners could employ their intent together for a number of
purposes, for the sake of mutual benefit. They could for instance do
the following on a group mind basis;
Gain energy, (draw and store chi)
in both the physical and energy-body levels
Gain clarity and otherwise refine
awareness
Raise vibrational levels and shift
to various states (move assemblage points) in tandem
Discuss and cognize aspects of
truth and the warriors' path in a very cohesive fashion, for the
sake of the greater enlightenment of all
Coordinate dreaming together
Coordinate gazing and stalking in
tandem, as well as mutual strengthening in various aspects of the
warriors' path.
Expand each others' level of
consciousness, with or without power plants.
These are but a few examples of what
could be done in tandem.

The Power of Group Intention - Intentwielder - 07-18-2013

This was generated from the ongoing discussion at Genaros' Hat CC forum.  My response follows some enthusiasm mixed with some skepticism;
Amongst practitioners there seems to be
three schools of thought with regard to the question of forming a
party;

The first mindset is one which says,
“Look at the potentials!”

The second says, “Look at the
potentials, but beware the pitfalls.”

and the third says, “It will never
work, therefore it's not worth doing”.

When you think about it, the path of
warriorship is fraught with pitfalls, and this is true of any
endeavor which holds merit and power. Every conceivable distraction
and inner failing is a potential roadblock for those who endeavor to
gain personal power. From self importance and lousy cultural karma,
to the sheer difficulties of the Path itself, there are formidable
barriers to advancement. But as individual warriors, we are not
daunted in our quest for freedom by these obstacles. We do not look
at them passively and say, “Well, it's too much for me so why
bother”, knowing full well that an attitude like that earns as much
as it invests...nothing. One of the highest merits of the Path, is
that it is in fact thoroughly difficult, as are most things of great
value. Also relevant is the fact that the rewards in traveling it
are equally potent. Knowing this, we find that abandoning the
discovered truth about self and the multiverse in general is really
not an option, that there is only advancement on the path to greater
mastery. Clarity and logic demand as much. So it is with the
individual warrior, as you well know. It is likewise so for groups,
and for precisely the same reasons.

Group practice of what DJ outlined is
not wholly unlike individual practice. It is composed of the very
same disciplines, focuses and intentions, only in a collective
setting. Granted, any group endeavor is only as successful as the
personal power of its' members. But so too is the individual
practitioner only as powerful as their composite intentions.

Although group practice involves the
extra burden of our fellow practitioners' karma, it also involves
their personal power added to the party’s' endeavors. Any
collective or similar intention forms a group mind that is
geometrically greater than the sum of it's parts. This is the
principle of group mind, in fact, and it is a natural law seen
everywhere in nature. Even the cells in our own bodies have
individual lives, but their main power is in the group mind
cooperation they have with one another. Look at the wonders they can
perform as a collective! And imagine how effective they would be if
divided into individual cells who do not align their energies....

In fact, imagine a forum which could
only be visited by individuals who could never interact or learn from
one another....

I fully understand the cynicism with
which some view collective efforts. In their eyes such endeavors are
not even worth talking about, because the human condition appears so
degraded. To them it seems that only egos can prevail, that only
power trips are to be expected from groups. While such statements
are largely correct, they are true only because of the current state
of humanity, not because this is the only way people could interact
with one another. When we speak of the prevalence of egos, it should
be remembered that what we're commenting on here are the flaws of
modern culture, of the sheer pettiness and ignorance of the human
species gone astray. The natural, pure and self realized state of
the human being is not one of ego, or pettiness or dominance for the
sake of self importance. Our natural state is that of a truly
intelligent creature which is fully capable of not only evolving, but
evolving as a matter of conscious intention. On that basis, we may
indeed find great potentials together in groups, and transcend all
limitations of culture, mind and body. This is not wishful thinking,
it is as hard a fact as is the ability of any individual to transcend
their own limitations. It need only be intended consistently and
mutually, and it will be so.

Given this, I belong to the first two
schools of thought, refusing to allow cynicism to stand in the way of
mutual progress. I know there are great advantages to group
intention, and I'm also keenly aware of the pitfalls that can derail
such efforts. But I am not disheartened by these, just made all the
more determined, because both logic and intuition demonstrate that
the group power of collective will is exponentially great. The
accomplishments of mutual focus are indeed difficult to overestimate!
This I know and have experienced for myself.

It is better to try again and again,
failing each time,

knowing full well that the odds are
against climbing the mountains of power together,

then to not try and fail automatically.

The Power of Group Intention - delawaredan - 07-20-2013

Internet warrior parties do not work out......or at least I have been told that they do not work.

The Power of Group Intention - Intentwielder - 07-20-2013

The main reason why ANY party wouldn't work out, is because no one is even willing to discuss what taking such action would entail, not even for the sake of learning a thing or two.
This would imply a predisposition for failure from the beginning.  It is classic self-fulfilling prophecy.

The Power of Group Intention - delawaredan - 07-20-2013

I was being sarcastic....sorry buddy. Anything is possible with intent.

The Power of Group Intention - Intentwielder - 07-30-2013

See if this is resonant;
the
position of the assemblage point = state of consciousness
that
in fact, the body is composed of feeling/intent elements, each with
their own "state"and that the average state of one's
body-wide components, (feelings) is what accounts for ones' overall
state of consciousness.
the position of the assemblage point
of the world human society = state of global consciousness
that
in fact, the global consciousness is composed of feeling/intent
elements, (individual people) each with their own stateand that
the average state of individuals is what accounts for the position of
the world AP.
Thus, as above, so below.  Both levels can
and do render effects upon each other.  To raise one is to raise
the other to some degree, and vice versa. Those with knowledge of
consciousness and the personal power to take action upon it,
can
"raise the world" with their intention,

in a way not unlike raising themselves

and each other in co-operative groups.

The Power of Group Intention - Intentwielder - 07-31-2013

This is what is meant by “raising”.

“Raising” or “To raise” is
defined in this context as; “The act or process of elevating the
level of consciousness of any given area of effect. “

“Area of effect” is defined in this
context as; “The scope at which intent is applied”.

An area of effect can be a single cell
in ones' body, a body tissue or organ, or the entire body as a whole.
An area of effect can be a single person, group of people, a whole
town or large city, a region/county, or the entire human race. An
area of effect can also be of larger and smaller scale than those
just mentioned. Such an area is determined by the intent of the
caster, held steady as a visualization in the mind.

To understand “raising” as a
practical, scientifically repeatable act, it is useful to start with
a small scale example within one's own body. The practitioner can
raise themselves. This means that a practitioner may, through acts
of intention, elevate the level of consciousness within their own
person.

Try the following exercise;
Focus your awareness on the
feelings in the right hand for one minute (this is an act of intent)
and notice how the feelings in the hand quickly intensify and become
more pronounced.
Shift your awareness from the
entire hand to each of the fingertips in succession, (this is also
an act of intent). Notice how the feelings intensify in each
fingertip as awareness/intent focuses on each one in turn.
Focus your awareness on the
feelings in the right index fingertip for one minute. Notice how a
greater subtlety of detail of feeling in the fingertip arises as a
result. Notice how the “fingertip state” is actually composed
of numerous sub component feelings, and that each of these sub
components are governed by intent. What this means is that in each
sub component area of the fingertip, each with its' own
micro-feelings, owes it's feeling qualities to the intent that
governs it, every second. To change the underlying intent behind
any feeling, is to change the nature and quality of that feeling.
Feeling in turn is the best indicator of intent as it occurs
body-wide. Feeling is energy, (chi) resonating at a given
vibration.
While focusing on the
feeling/intent elements in the right index fingertip, INTEND that
those feelings elevate, which is to say, “feel higher” or
“increase vibration”. Intend the feelings there to get higher
by degrees. Intend also that the feelings in the fingertip
intensify. In other words, INTEND more joy, happiness, bliss, love,
etc. into the cells of the fingertip. Know that if you can easily
intend your awareness to center on a given area of the body this
way, and to cause the feelings there to intensify, you can also
easily intend feelings of a higher vibration to occur also. In
other words, know how easy it is to RAISE your fingertip.
Experiment with such an intent and do what works.
Some will find that while seeking
to raise their fingertip, they can accomplish this by merely
visualizing something pleasant and find the feelings elevated,
usually be subtle degrees. Others can ask their intuition the
following question, “What would a higher feeling in the fingertip
be like?” Those with a silent mind will get quick answers,.
Others still will ask the body the same question, and receive
equally quick answers.

Attempt this exercise until the truth
of it becomes obvious.

Fact; If you can raise your fingertip,
your can raise your entire finger. If you can raise your entire
finger, you can raise the entire hand, then both hands, both arms,
the entire upper body, and then the entire body.

If you can INTEND to raise your entire
body, you can then learn to raise other people in your immediate
vicinity. If you can raise others in your immediate vicinity, then
you can raise a whole city block. If you can raise a city block,
then you can raise an entire town, forest, crowd, and so forth to
larger and larger areas of effect.

This is a learned skill, one based upon
the body knowledge we already possess . By “body” I do not just
mean the physical body, but the energy body and soul as well.

There are many aspects of “raising”,
with the above being known as “vibrational raising”. There is
also “chi gaining”, “clarity gaining”, “right alignment”,
and others. When more than one aspect of raising is employed,
(intended simultaneously) they have much more potent, synergistic
effect.

It is through such knowledge and
practical application, that practitioners may raise each other as a
party, and advance very quickly through higher levels of
consciousness together.. When two or more practitioners raise each
other simultaneously, a reciprocating field of energy, (chi) is
created between them. Because such a field/intent is reciprocating
it is mutually building, and highly progressive. Couples,
(male/female) will find it a powerful medium through which they can
literally empower each other by cumulative stages, (polarized
energy).

The Power of Group Intention - Intentwielder - 08-05-2013

What follows is a portion of an on-going conversation in another forum, on this same topic of group intention.
//////////////////What
we've been talking about here, it is safe to say, goes well beyond
any one practice or tradition. It transcends any one time or place,
all cultures, all ideologies. “To do what works” is ever the
standard for those who would excel in any endeavor. The progressive
are unattached to any given system in favor of universal principles,
(truth). What we are discussing is both science and mysticism, logic
and gnosis. Granted, what Castaneda has provided forms a large
portion of the focus. The ethos of the warrior, the masteries of
intention, awareness and self refinement, impeccability, deep
attunement to nature and to the intricacies of human nature, name
just a portion of his contribution. But added to the nagualism base,
we have implicitly added particle and quantum physics, gnosticism,
the science of consciousness, eastern philosophy, the scientific
method, spirituality, self realization and occult truths. The
practitioner who would transcend all limitations of self and world,
must take the best of knowledge from a wide variety of sources.

Keeping
all this in mind helps to answer your question, Nemo, of “Who to
include?” in such an endeavor. It is an important and intricate
question that has many levels of answers. Let us look at the
question for a moment from the perspective of three different levels,
“advanced, intermediate and beginning”. Note that the more
advanced levels must by necessity, include the qualities of those of
lesser advancement;

Advanced

Ideally,
such a party of practitioners would be composed of those advanced
persons, who are very well versed in the areas of knowledge mentioned
above. By “well versed” I mean familiar with such areas of
knowledge as those outlined by the video, whose link I posted
yesterday on this thread, and much more. Such practitioners are
those thoroughly dedicated to spiritual ideals, to honor, respect for
nature and truth wherever it is found, logic, the cultivation of
genius and excellence, and who stand deeply for the greater good, for
evolutionary progress and the expansion of self, group and world
consciousness. Such persons are wise souls who are highly self
realized. They would possess powerful psychic capabilities, and the
capacity to explain and successfully transmit the Path, to all who
sincerely inquire. In short, they would each be Masters, or at least
high adepts who endeavor Mastery as a daily priority. A group of
Masters so aligned in their intention could generate tremendous waves
of effect; manifestations of progressive purpose that could greatly
aid each other and their fellow human beings around the world.

Intermediate

The mid-level practitioner, although rare, would be far
more common than Master-level individuals. Such persons should, in
my estimation, be able to capably perform the following;

Raise their personal vibration, as well as that of the
group.

Raise their personal degree of clarity, as well as that
of the group.

Draw and store progressive amounts of chi personally,
as well as for the group as a whole.

Resonate personally with sources of higher
consciousness, (nature, “God”, the earth, the sun, those of high
attainment, off-world sources, etc.) and be able to learn, and draw
spiritual strength from these. This practice has been known as
“right alignment”. Such practitioners should likewise be able
to aid the right alignment of the group as a whole.

Besides these basic essentials of practice, (vibration,
clarity, chi, alignment) the intermediate practitioner is ever a
TEAM MEMBER who acts for the greater good of the group, as much as
they do for themselves. They should also be proficient in
Castanedas' “recapitulation” practice, speak and act truthfully,
and stand for the cause of spiritual advancement. Such persons will
take personal refinement seriously in all respects, engaging a
healthy diet, right exercise, a logical lifestyle and good karma. As
“Adepts” they will delight in meaningful dialog, shunning the
trivial and the superficial.

Beginning

The beginning practitioner or aspirant, need only be
truly and consistently sincere in their desire to learn. Over time
and/or effort they must demonstrate this sincerity through manifest
changes in their daily life. They will embody the Path by degrees,
and make serious, repeated effort to progress along it.

In general, the basic test for suitability for such
group endeavors, is how any aspirant answers these two basic
questions;

“What do you stand for?” and,

“How is this demonstrated in your daily life?”

Those who do not even understand the first question, or
who are reluctant to answer it, are generally disqualified, unless
they can express in coherent and compelling terms, why they should be
admitted to group practice. Perhaps needless to say, the question
“What do you stand for?” does not refer to life focuses of a more
trivial or superficial nature. Answers such as “underwater basket
weaving”, “dedicated television spectatorship”, “sports”,
“gossip”, “garden club volunteerism” and so forth are not
sufficient responses to qualify entry. Examples of meaningful
responses would be “truth”, “the expansion of consciousness”,
“the betterment of the human condition”, “spirituality”,
“evolution”, “clarity and understanding” “good will and
love” would be ideal, assuming that such a person can enumerate the
ways their daily lives reflect their supposed commitment.

The above parameters of practice, it is useful to note,
are not anyones' “opinion” of what is required. They are in fact
determined by the Path itself, by truth and consciousness, that are
the foundations of reality.
