The Sorcerer's Apprentice - docta lee - 09-05-2008
Have any of you had the chance to read "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" by Amy Wallace?.
This is a very good book and it gives the reader a glimpse into the wierd world of Carlos.
She was part of his inner circle and one of his many sex partners.
If you really are into CC you would be a fool not to read it.
READ IT...IT;S WORTH IT!

That book shows the real scope of how developed Carlos was as a Nagual. For me it was a confirmation of my first guess with Carlos: His tonal
delusions, ambitions and indulgences destroyed him.
He should have stick with the Datura sorcery... at least to live like a powerful sorcerer instead of a weak men of knowledge.
As for Don Juan's opinion of the Devil's Weed, It certainly didn't hurt Nagual Julian and aparently loved Carlitos.

Hey all at Seperate Reality,
I found this site from PP from seeing some of Grandspec's posts of late. This book by Amy Wallace, I have not read, it is alway unavailable to me on
amazon, out of print ect. It is curious to me that I never can get my hand on it, maybe some part of me doesn't want to burst my bubble about CC.
Grandspec, your posts were very clear, I was reading PP and came across that conflict with Tiffany and Ninth, and quite frankly I was a bit shocked by all the
nastiness, but we all do have it in us. I must say that both of them have been wonderful to me, the few times I have posted, and as I read along that thread
of conflict I actually wondered if it was a setup, a script, to show us how petty we could be. What do you think? Artwarrior

It is scripted... but not by us. Tiffany and Ninth are nice persons, but they have their self-important tonals... and that speaks about them as
naguals or spiritual beings.
As you might have noticed, she didn't bother to read and understand my arguments at all. She has a tonal-delusion to defend, by all means.
My personal recomendation for the sober wannabe-nagual is staying away from forums. They are not evolutionary. Be close to nature, open yourself to power.
Clear your personal history. Be a sober tonal and a benefactor will come to you.

Some of this is such a reflection of what I go through on a daily basis , especially lately. I do believe that one of the most difficult tasks on the
Warrior's Path is to not react to insults, and not get angry. Finding a strategy is a solution but can also be difficult, at least without instruction.
Mostly, I stay quiet and go on about my business until Spirit opens a way. As well, I guess it helps to remember that I , too, began from a place of
self-importance, and can only sigh at those still afflicted with it.
These forums have been helpful in my understanding of the Toltec teachings , if only to form my thinking in exchanges with others as I post. Unless I'm
bored ,or worse, disturbed about something , I usually pass by nonsense and hostility , here.
And, Docta Lee, I am always interested in new books. I'll keep it in mind. However , I am long convinced that Castaneda is not an issue. The issue is ,
do the statements resonate with my true mind? Are the tales of don Juan wisdom, or not? Can I verify by my own experience , or that of others besides
Carlos Castaneda?
