Upon his meeting DJ in a bus station in Arizona CC is revealed by his teacher a very displeasing truth relating to his own nature. In the early days of his apprenticeship DJ referred to him often as insolent immortal creature that would step on corpses to get what he wants.
The main difference i noticed between eastern and western lineages was their relationship to time, that comprehension of time extending from those with knowledge to those without. Some people i have meet in my dreams have a similar attitude, even when they are told that time is flowing regardless of their doings they keep acting as if a special eternity is available to them. DJ used to tell a young Carlos that a sorcerer arrives just in time it never hurries nor awaits however i tend to disagree if that was to be true a nagual named Julian Osorio would have found a nagual human being before being injured to death when he found Juan Matus in the fields of Oaxaca. The young peasant was a nagual being while alive and healthy yet the teacher arrived late to become aware of that.
This was what caused the imminence of a certain prophecy to be unveiled to this lineage around the same time, it's abrupt downfall after another nagual leader was to be found. The teachers of CC where unable to comprehend and act upon the awareness of time, they figured that because they wield huge, power time will be in their control unlike for the other humans that exist. In other regions of the planet people are aware of the truth: time is to be followed not controlled by humans that is how other knowing people arrive at the exact time not a second before not one later. They know they are expected to be there and they are sometimes running other times lingering looking at their inner watch( in ancient time an hourglass) to maintain the perfect balance between the within and without, knowing always what they are waiting or rushing for.
This is part of what CC referred to as mastery of wilt (north) yet i prefer the term mastery of alive due to my own system of reference.

By stating that Julian found Juan "late"......you are the one trying to control time. You say it was not the time you would have picked. It was not "correct". You feel it would have been better to find Juan prior to being shot.
But in reality, it happened at the right time.

When someone finds a dead being is late, cannot get later than that in my opinion. One can find someone as child, as adult, as elderly and as dead the first two can be handled, the third is undecided yet someone that has a destroyed body will never be alive like it was before. That injured body's double starts to rot the moment the heart stoops and it is revived it is a Frankenstein never a human being, gathering pieces of dead people's double. In order to keep that damaged body alive it feeds on the living just like a vampire or a zombie, in my knowledge for one to live up to an year after the death 10 die( in some cases many more depending on the power the needed sacrifices have within). It obeys and does what is told when it is told because otherwise it returns to the grave, regardless of how silly the request might be, it has nothing to loose it already lost everything that life is. And eventually because it used it's choice it will return to the land regardless of the way it does so. It never fears or respects anything but it's own desire "there is no right and wrong there is only power and those that have it and those that don't" and creates it's own rightness and justifies it's actions as willed by the spirit not the itself only because of that phrase i know Don Juan Matus was late as well in finding CC as well as those nearest to him.
In Egypt they were called Sheut, shadow people that lived of other alive do not confuse the term with a nation not all are alike not even in a town less in a large population.

So, this is to mean that men in all their limited knowledge are capable of fully seeing to the end of their choices, and that this thing called the spirit in truth holds no power in this world? Or is this to mean that men must exercise their ability to control reality to dictate the circumstances of future designs as opposed to acknowledging that in truth we know and control nothing? I was called too soft some four years ago never-mind i am not so soft
now, sadly and by the way those days will return in some 5000 years when
