You imagine in your mind a brick wall from the side and say "This brick wall will protect me against nightmares and prevent inorganic beings from entering my dreams"

Try it Smile Any results? Post here

Once you wake up from a nightmare, you can flip over your pillow and go back to sleep. There will be no more nightmare to go back to.

Technique from Sergio Magana's book The Toltec Secret

Hey there NathansHere,
I have not read that books but it sounds like it could have some useful things to say Smile.

In my experience, it also helps to change your position in the bed too. This works for any kind of dreaming. Say sometimes you can go sleep on the other side of the bed (head-foot reversal). or go sleep on the floor or in a different room etc.

But ofc it is not an all-fix. (Also, I do not have it from any good book, but I sure hope it is noted somewhere in some book out there hehe).

I'd also recommend not to brush the nightmares away but try to see what is behind them and what message they bring, if any.

Preventing nightmares could include becoming a nightmare. Once a nightmare, other nightmares pale in comparison.

Case in point, afraid of bats? become Batman.

Don't prevent the nightmare.
Embrace the nightmare.
