Heres a bit of sharing
I do not regard myself as a spiritualist though I have had contact with the spirits of the dead on a few occasions. Here I will tell you the story of one of those occasions, for the simple reason that I want to.
About eight years ago I had a nightly visitor. Her name was Sara and she was a pretty young woman with big curly hair. She appeared one night in the doorway of my bedroom with a request. In exchange for whatever I might desire in the terms of fame and fortune she wanted permission to enter my body. I was startled and not entirely comfortable with the offer so I asked her to come back the following night, so that I would have some time to think, and of course I was secretly hoping she wouldnt come back. However, the second night she appeared in my doorway again, this time she was far more insistent and not as nice. But during the day I had decided to decline the offer and as I told her she argued and increased the advantages I would receive. Finally she went away saying that she would return one more time the following night. At this point we were not particularly good friends. Being quite scared as for what might happen the following night I made an effort to call for help in my dreams that night, the memories are a bit vague but the point is that I received information on how to help this poor woman to leave this world behind and move on. The last night I got hiccups when a pretty nasty corps appeared in my doorway, recognizable as Sara only by the curly hair. Without wasting time on any conversation with this creature I did as I had been told and slowly her appearance changed, the pretty young woman appeard again though with a kind of halo and slowly fading away. I havent seen her since and I think we are both more peaceful this way.

About the same time in my life as the event above occured I had involentary contact with the soul of an old witch. Who was not, I might add, very nice. She appeard both days and nights and it took me a couple of months to shake her off.
Events such as these two occured regularily for about a year but faded away as I increased my meditation skills.
If anybody has any opinions on this matter I would be very interested to hear them.

well I don't have much of an oppinion other than these things happen to all of us in one form or another.
Unlike you, I went looking for trouble in a foolish attemp to protect (or perhaps it would be more accurate to say avenge) a friend. I had no idea that the person I was hunting in my astral state had BIG time graurdians of a nature that I can only discribe as real evil. I got burned real bad and have never attemped to do such a stupid thing agian. It was a hard lesson learned by a young and foolish boy.
I have sense become and older and wiser man.
You seemed to have handled your trial with a bit more grace and wisedom. Congrats

hiya athena.. your story was fascinating...
I did once try an intentional visit, to my dead cousin, who actually ended up returning. We went flying together, just like he said we would..
I asked him about what he'd been up to, and he told me he'd initlaly travlled around the english villiages. so that's where he took me..
also.. i noticed he was interested in stuff like meditation, tryed to follow what i was doing - and asking about it.. i think that was cool..

Funny you should ask that because as I started reading my old post I thought "Oh, his bringing up Jessica again."
Anyway a woman with similar appearence have shown up in my dream this last year, latest ones being the one where I was almost dragged through a hole in the sky and the one where she kept fighting us and I had to drown her and she said mother and father with great affection, if you remember me telling you about those.

I certainly remember the first... I didn't realise it was her who was dragging you through the sky though...
