Beating the flyer for good - vajrakaya - 09-14-2009 The flyer is a great pain in nagual development. The cheap, easy way to beat it early in our path (when we are rather dull and energetically weak) is simple enough. The chain of the flyer's slavery lies on the flyer's thoughts. They bombard us with them from within to move us away from our path of heart. Pushing the flyer out, rebelling against it proves unsuccesful. The flyer comes back, more vicious (or subtler) than before. Instead we should do this sly manouver: intending the rejection of the flyer's thoughts. Without the flyer's thoughts driving us mad, the flyer finds itself unable to screw us and, within days, leaves defeated. Aparently, according to Castaneda, with just the absense of this inorganic being we will be able to shut our internal dialogue and see within days. The rest is walk that, harder or easier, is done without internal resistance. Beating the flyer for good - Nagual LoneWolf - 09-14-2009 Well said Vajrkaya! That a war for the Warrior Beating the flyer for good - El Espiritu del Foro - 10-13-2009 Once it becomes a fixed attitude, the game is over with the flyer. We close a gap and, unless we open it again, it remains closed. Beating the flyer for good - dreamgirl - 10-15-2009 Hi! The other day El Espiritu mentioned this technique to me, just saying I reject the flyer's thoughts as they come on, and I will say I thought it sounded too simple, but I suspended judgement and practiced this whenever I had a negative thought. It seems to be working for me, very well in fact. Now from reading this post I am focusing my intent on this practice as well as catching thoughts throughtout the day. I have been able to recall dreams much more easily since taking up this practice. Thanks for this suggestion!!! Dreamgirl Beating the flyer for good - El Espiritu del Foro - 10-15-2009 Vajrakilaya = El Espiritu = Grand Speculator = Other alias heh! Good to see that someone is taking advantage of my tips! Beating the flyer for good - Nagual LoneWolf - 10-16-2009 I say it, I say it and none hear, you say it and hey its works!! (just kidding you alias) Beating the flyer for good - El Espiritu del Foro - 10-17-2009 Like that bastard from Death-Proof I have a little black book... and I take note of everyone I meet. And Lonewolf's name was filed under "Cool". YOU ARE OK IN MY BOOK! Beating the flyer for good - Nagual LoneWolf - 10-17-2009 and you are as well Don La Tik Foro. Beating the flyer for good - another spirit - 11-13-2009 Seeing voice told me - don't like it. Beating the flyer for good - Gonzo - 11-13-2009 Don't like what? Beating the flyer for good - Vrill - 11-14-2009 could someone redefine flyer for me? If you read my post, "the chasm", it describes more or less what I did to free myself and yet one needs clarity to make sure we are speaking the same language. Beating the flyer for good - DoktorGreen - 11-20-2009 There is an energy necessary for our form to hold together when we manifest here. It is the energy of self identity. It holds the fibers together in this reality of forms. Some call this the flier. That energy is injected into our being at conception to give us our individual perception. Without it, we are in the 3rd attention. We need it to exist as forms. The resulting problems come from our cultural traits of excessive self attention. Thus, there are traditions to help one recapture (recapitulate) the original matrix and actually be useful in this reality. Once the flier is under control, one has the opportunity to access all the positions of the AP..... and even beyond. Beating the flyer for good - bluedreamer - 11-20-2009 Wow, DoktorGreen, I haven't seen it put this way before, thanks for a fresh perspective. Is the original matrix similar to the ego sans neurotic traits that accumulate especially during childhood and then beyond from repetition/karma? How does the recaptured energy look to seers? Beating the flyer for good - DoktorGreen - 11-21-2009 Yes thats basically it. Like runnng a disk restore, lol! BUT, just because one has a clean slate, it isn't a ticket to dreamland. There simply exists an opportunity. A Seer (SEE-er) can see the Eagle's fibers within the person and these fibers have pulses of energy flowing in them if they are un-congested. He/she SEEs many other things as well, but this indicates a restored entity. However, this is not what influences his/her decision to take on an acolyte. That is based on an energetic configuration like his/her own, which allows the specific facets of the tradition represented to be palatable... Beating the flyer for good - bluedreamer - 11-21-2009 Good word: acolyte, right to the point of what you describe and interesting etymology , I was picturing the etymology being related to light but this makes sense too: "Etymology: Middle English, from Anglo-French & Medieval Latin; Anglo-French, acolit, from Medieval Latin acoluthus, from Middle Greek akolouthos, from Greek, adjective, following, from a-, ha- together (akin to Greek homos same) + keleuthos path Date: 14th century" What you reveal about what influences seers when choosing an acolyte makes the best of natural sense, so there might be a chance for those of us who aren't completely fluid...yet? : ) Beating the flyer for good - DoktorGreen - 11-21-2009 One of the problems with explanations is that they are only words. This is the greatest drawback that Seers and Mystics have faced throughout history. Some person, group, or lineage has found a way into Oneness. Then the attempt is made to teach that to others. The truth is... they have achieved that Oneness and they understand it completely from the perspective of Oneness. The problem arises when they attempt to describe it to those that haven't experienced it. It can't be included in the consensual human perceptual spectrum. It must be accomplished from the outside. There are ways that humans can step outside of that spectrum. Sound bombardment, deep deep meditation, psychotropic intervention, and dreaming, etc. Any of those can break that barrier. You are bluedreamer. You have a modus operandi! The fact that there are a limited number of ways to ascend from this basic tonal is not completely limiting! From a lucid dream perspective... there are many more opportunities! More lineages. More openings. More fluidity. More fellow dreamers! One can get stabilized in dreaming and leave the shackles behind! Beating the flyer for good - bluedreamer - 11-21-2009 Thank you for this encouragement Doktor Green, and again interesting word "modus operandi" which according to merriam websters applies especially to criminals. It has long been criminal to ascend gnostic paths, to be witch, sorcerer, mystic ,etc and lots of martyrs along the way. In the US it is said there exists freedom of religion but note that it should state freedom(or requirement, lol) of organized religions to define themselves and be tax free as long as they don't interfere with business and busy-ness as usual. Beating the flyer for good - Captain Know - 11-21-2009 So too did the ancient Eastern Orthodox monks or "saints" talk about reaching "silence' thru discipline and would expose their mind to an elder who had already reached 'interior silence'. the frequent exposing of the thoughts was part of the discipline to break the will of the Flyer -- though they didn't call it that. Beating the flyer for good - Mornings Son - 11-22-2009 the true Tao can not be named... Beyond Beyond Hurra Hurra 'The other side' Beating the flyer for good - armchair - 11-22-2009 "I DECIDE TO REJECT THE FLYER'S THOUGHTS FOREVER" Make a stand people! Beating the flyer for good - another spirit - 12-10-2009 use discrimination. like and don't like. but choose. Beating the flyer for good - Death Defier - 02-13-2010 When one manages to take the flyer out of the energy body, the sucker will try to stay around the person and penetrate his/her dreams. So, part two of Beating the flyer for good is "I refuse the flyer entry to my dreams." Beating the flyer for good - Guest - 02-15-2010 Beating the flyer for good - Death Defier - 02-15-2010 I heard this before. While the flyer appears to have a real role in most of the tonals of this world by directing their awareness towards social striving this council about how to beat the flyer is to fit those individuals that want to be free. I even heard that without the flyer some people would become morons. They actually NEED a direction in life, even if it is a parasitic inorganic being the one giving it. I guess that the problem is the over-stimulation that happens in a very populated society. If someone would a live simple life in a natural place with few people they could have full-filling lives regardless of their personal evolution. I heard of a forest tribe in India. Very little knowledge and traditions. Very simple life. They were very happy and usually lived a 100 years or more, but they didn't even knew it. |
