razor's edge - Guest - 02-18-2015 Razors edge - W Somerset Maugham http://www.bstew.net/school/razors-edge.pdf this is a great book about the mystic path, i found it very interesting and there is a lot of reference to mystical concepts. it is well written and i found many parallels with my own life. as it spans many years it is interesting to see the bigger picture, which in turn helped me to see the bigger picture in my own life. its not meant to be a technical book but i was even able to enhance my own practice through reading about another's experience. it was turned into a film twice, i havent had chance to check them out yet, one has bill murray in. The Razor's Edge is a book by W. Somerset Maugham published in 1944. Its epigraph reads, "The sharp edge of a razor is difficult to pass over; thus the wise say the path to Salvation is hard," taken from a verse in the Katha-Upanishad razor's edge - Guest - 08-21-2019 |
