As if I'd slept a thousand years underwater I wake into a new season. I
am the blue lotus rising. I am the cup of dreams and memory opening--I,
the thousand-petaled flower. At dawn the sun rises naked and new as a
babe; I open myself and am entered by light. This is the joy, the slow
awakening into fire as one by one the petals open, as the fingers that
held tight the secret unfurl. I let go of the past and release the
fragrance of flowers.
I open and light descends, fills me and passes through, each thin blue
petal reflected perfectly in clear water. I am that lotus filled with
light reflected in the world. I float content within myself, one flower
with a thousand petals, one life lived a thousand years without haste,
one universe sparking a thousand stars, One GOD alive in a thousand
people.
If you stood on a summer's morning on the bank under a brilliant sky, you
would see the thousand petals and say that together they make the
lotus. But if you lived in its heart, invisible from without, you might
see how the ecstasy at its fragrant core gives rise to its thousand
petals. What is beautiful is always that which is itself in essence, a
certainty of being. I marvel at myself and the things of earth.
I float among the days in peace, content. Not part of the world, the
world is all the parts of me. I open toward the light and lift myself to
the Gods on the perfume of prayer. I ask for nothing beyond myself. I
own everything I need. I am content in the company of GOD, a prayer that
contains its own answer. I am the lotus. As if from a dream, I wake up
laughing.

The dark backwards this is a collage of scenes that refer to a particular episode of the Andromeda series. I see it as appropriate for all of you perhaps, you will begin to understand a sun has only one cut and one action while a star, especially when turning into a black hole has many going even backwards, because it does not rely on itself alone to exist further it already died. And reality is the best possible universe because of it and is available to those that can create it.

Ahh trance of cource. That greatly clarifies your speaking about the sun. Dylan in the event horizon with the avatar of the black hole. The sundering of Tarn Vedra, and its remerging from the Eddy in slipspace.
Also the dark avatar, of a blackhole, that looke dlike trance. The destruction of Earth in the cycle of renewal in the Last episode. Also, even if its not in form, you often have a tail like trance, and some other features, as a stylistic choice. I wasnt sure if it was deliberate or not but it is distinct.

No in the remake series those that were left walked away from the past, humans and cylons, and started a new cycle no technology intermingled with the humans on Earth as hunter gatherers on THIS earth and it ended with a scene in present day in times square. Which i must say, was more satisfying an ending then Galactica 1980 that horrible aborted second season. lol.

Andromeda seson 5 i never watched battle star Galactica, i found it peculiarly boring, i watched Andromdeda because there was a certain mystical knowledge attached to it.
If someone knows the story is aware of the frozen captain in a black hole, that looses his beloved because of it, together with everything he knew and loved. Until he is rescued by this other ship composed of a purple monkey, a drug addict, a self eating creature, a backstabber and a weakling.
I like it when young Trance aka purple monkey turns into a warrior cause she meets herself from the future and switches places with that one cause it can fight. Yet she never can fight, all she does is end all of them with the aid of someone elses power. I like it how the star avatars look alike, except the one that actually is a sun avatar but is under the influence of the Abyss . Maura the dark one or perhaps Kali.
I like it when at some point the captain meets his beloved yet she moved on with her existence had a beautiful long life he knew nothing about, filled with love and children. I guess i like it when people are shown that life can go on without them, those that lived found love and happiness without them their continuity as frail as was in the beginning resisted. The beautiful Sara, was never his i guess, she found joy with the one destined for her.
The first three seasons are about a life they lived and died in the forth is about the story they tried desperately to extend they meaningless existence, the fifth is their new incarnation as intended and willed or how they got there in first place. I like it when Trance meets her blue brother then she does not remember him as Ione and how they do end up back in Tarn Vedra and are not so fond of it again. I like it because some times blue beings like what they are but sometimes just like in the movie they want to be stars and get burned badly by desires never fulfilled, one should be pleased with what is its place unless it wants to selfdestruct like the characters in the movie. Then remember this has happened before and their end is always the same, sad and pathetic and they return to the known world again and we start again.
I would like to thank it's creator i know i can even if he is dead, the series continued as he wanted, even after he was gone. My appreciation today is for Gene Roddenberry and his dead spouse, Majel the woman that made sure the continuity was possible.
