A song of life and death - Bob May - 01-10-2011 Here's a song I wrote. I apologize for the recording but I am still learning the program and I'm not too adept at mixing mastering etc. http://www.myspace.com/robertmaysongwri ... e-71159734 A song of life and death - ninth octave - 01-10-2011 Hi Bob May! Liken the sincerity of your words and music. I like to hear the sound of the plain old acoustic guitar. It brings to heart of the one spirit companion that man and dog share. I was a cornball teen in the 70's ( while most of my peers were listening to Led Zeppelin)... I couldn't wait to purchase my first albums with my first paycheck. John Denver followed with Gordan Lightfoot. A song of life and death - Bob May - 01-10-2011 Thanks for the listen. A man after my own heart. A lot of what I hear is way too sterile and electronic these days. Funny you should mention a dog and his companion. I just finished the lyics on a song 5 minutes ago that deal with that very subject. I am hoping to get it recorded and up on myspace in the next week or two. It's a country/bluegrass tune with a warped sense of humor. Hard Dog G, C, G, Em, C, G, D Instr G, C, G, Am, *, C, D, G G C G She's always been the kind of girl to wander. Verse 1 Em C G D Exploring all her possibilities. G C G She saw the grass as greener over yonder. Em C D Yet never failed to come back home to me.
