And, linked to what I was asking you in the honor and recap thread, I wanted to say I'm glad we understood each other in the end
. I am fine with a more wholesome response to stuff, not everything needs to be clear and linear. There are perks to not being linear (I've experienced them too and wouldn't mind more of that)
. However, I do get more on my toes if there is something said that could be taken in a bad way (it's just my spidey sense tingling). When you said rosy made others suffer, whereby rosy did not say something like that in so many words, I wanted to see where that was coming from to see if I missed something (if I did and it made clear sense then I could turn off the spidey alert). I had a feeling that rosy might not take kindly to being told such (if it was not something he himself expressed before). And I hope that my input helped buffer that a little.
With these kinds of things, I try to be a bit careful. And I find that raising awareness in this regard is sometimes also linked to my duties at the site. Nevertheless, we do need certain challenges, ones that are done kindly (like I felt yours was - and I do not mean you were challenging rosy but that it was a bit of a challenge for him to read that).
So, to be clear (cause one never knows heh), I am not telling you what to do here, just pointing out what is behind things for me
.
Now that I have a bit of time to go over the threads and also to participate some, I really appreciate your input at the site. I enjoyed participating in threads (wish I had more time to do so).
I also felt like Le_Regard was a good addition in terms of sparking certain discussion topics, although in terms of some of his posting style and judgment he was not such a perfect force hehe. Too bad people have judgmental/mean streaks... I wish the world was more homogenous
. But then people like you would probably be bored
. And then who knows what would happen, so I guess there is a sense to everything after all
