How about donations? Not anymore. People hate donations now. Donations are just a guilt trip. There are like 1,000,000,000 non-profits all absurdly competing with each other to save the world, some at cross purposes with each other and some just inefficient, and they all ask for DONATIONS all the time. And don't even get me started about religions.
If we're honest with ourselves, I mean, if we're all adults about this, it's simpler just to pay for it, isn't it?
It's certainly the easier route to pay the piper.
If you're interested in the easy route, I believe you're doing easy inefficiently.
I can't take the easy route. I'd consider something more like "early retirement", probably... but I couldn't ethically ask my clients to do anything I'm not willing to do myself.
