yes, sadly many of the people interested in these topics are weird (looks around, cough cough), so if we eliminate weird posting we will have a half empty site. Which, mind you, I would not mind in the least, bettter to have 2 discussions in 2 weeks than a zillion chaotic ones that dont make sense. Although I do not appreciate this kind of posting at all, since I see people answering to such post i am thinking maybe its me and i dont want to take the discussion away from other people. Now if no one was answering or engaging in conversation then it would be pretty straight forward.
Also, did you notice the option that you can hide a specific user's post? That way if someone is getting on your nerves you can just be oblivious to their existence. kind of hard core, i almost used it once , but then took care of things by just not visiting the few specific threads (and the user didnt post elsewhere).
I have found that yuku does not give the option to have members on different levels of access to buttons/options, so i cannot make it that some 'normal' users can edit and delete their posts and others cannot.
the place where unclesam is posting a few posts a day (and it is around 3 or so per thread, not more) is a place where he cannot edit his posts.. 2-3 posts in one thread in one day is that too much? in general no, i would say it depends on the posts or on the discussion - as in if there is one or is the poster just talking to themselves .
If unclesam posts more than two posts in succession during a day in one thread from here on, i will put a cap limit on his posting, and also on any other nickname he comes here with in the future while I am mod. I do not like the way yuku changed the time settings and cant really change it back, meaning i can see a post was made a day ago and dont know if there is 20 hours of time in between, which i find to be of interest in cases such as these.
