I hear you, seesaw, qs, dan.. I am now overseeing his behavior and since i am new here it is like a new leaf in a sense, so i decided to extend that new leaf to scout1 too (at least until that seems reasonable based on his current behavior). Also the important thing is that he is not running amok and that someone is here if he 'looses it' to take care of the mess. If more people wrote into this thread saying they find his input disruptive I might consider taking stronger action against him, so we can wait and see on that.
Interesting to me is that no one complains about rosy spamming, he replies to himself pretty often and he uses big font and makes posts like this one and the three following it:

I do not wish to ban or cap one user when another is going by doing a similar thing. we value rosy's input here even though sometimes we see him doing stuff like this. it is similar with scout, sometimes he makes an interesting post and then edits it into oblivion or makes it unbearable by making the font super large adding a zillion quotes and well you know what I am talking about..
I am checking the recent threads, looking at scout's posting. In the time since I started doing that he has behaved himself in terms of answers in a row during a day. But let me add that in one place he has 3 replies and not two, i let that slide because there was one reply and after 10 hours a second and then in an hour a third which was a specific reply to a user. I notice people like to make a different post to reply to different users, not put it all into one long post and because of that (and the time difference between the first and the other two) I thought we can live with that. But I hope scout will be careful, because if he does that more often it might become disruptive and be included into the post limit i gave him.
Also, a thing to keep in mind is that I will not be cleaning up all the old threads, but focus on new threads made after i took an active role here, because that is where the new energy goes. So concerning threads like tensegrity, i wouldnt even know where to start on that... .
P.S. If you see him (or anyone else) overstepping somewhere you can drop me a note here or via pm
