I agree with you 100% on removing posts. It's infamous troll behaviour and as a forum owner myself, I can validate how much it disrupts a forum, particularly if the thread is still active. I DO think an "edit" function is a good idea - it seems to be available on some of the forums/threads here, but not others. No big deal, just a thought.
Of course, I also agree with Mornings Son to an extent. There are times when it may be wise spiritually to remove or edit certain posts, but hopefully most warriors are familiar with the old concept of "be impeccable with your word." Much less to edit & remove if we simply think before we speak.
On the subject of edit as opposed to remove... it's been interesting to me over the years to see how our views/conclusions change as we evolve on our path. So if I said something 5 years ago and no longer "believe" it, or have come to a greater understanding, I think it is far more helpful (to myself & anyone else) to post new ideas alongside the old.
My 2 cents... won't even buy a gumball these days! LOL.
