I agree Turin, it was provocative for him to delete threads after your group spanking. However with yours you were doing it to protect the group. His was merely to protect himself... when I say protect, I imagine it was more of wanting to be concise with his message or not liking what was communicated moreso from his point of view than from others.
In a way it was considerate to remove the entire thread instead of merely deleting just his own postings. The continuity of the thread wasn't threatened, as there is no thread, lol. A suspension seems appropriate until things (ie intents) get sorted out. From what I've heard of the past, I assume NLW is just playing it safe as he loves the forum and what all have to say.
I think it won't be too long until we see him back. We all behave impulsively at times and sometimes that means we make a mistake. Great learning experience and it's clear actions have consequences.
The more important question is, who gets to hold the paddle to do his spanking?
