Abs,
The sensation of having tentacles is strongest when my body is in good shape and I have a lot of vitality, and it's just been something that has gradually gotten stronger over the years.
"does it feel anything like an energetic contraction between two poles ( sternum and perineum) that produce an energetic discharge?"
Hmm, Nope. But I have always felt something like a space-warping bubble of energy about 6-7 inches in diameter down there.
The masculinity series of passes seems to really make me feel them. Also, Hung Ga kung fu (derived from southern shaolin) uses a combination of breathing and flexing excercizes where all emphasis is centered on the Dan Tien (same position of the gap).
And yes when I lift wieghts its easier when I imagine tentacles wrapping tightly around whatever I've got and assisting (like an invisible spotter).
Sometimes when I am drifting off to sleep I get flashes or visions of tentacles doing funny things, like ripping a 2 x 4 from the porch, or crushing a coffee cup lol...
Again - I remain agnostic (I really am a skeptic), and keep the idea of the tentacles because its fun, however if it turns out that its all in my head, well thats ok. It is at least a very nice cognitive device to help me do physical things.
