Perhaps the arcing between the two poles that produce an energetic pulse or pressure wave, outwards or inwards is something different, though I have beckoned different outcomes with it in the past. Not anything physical, more subtle changes in the interactions in my environment.
I also don't particularly like the tentacle terminology either, as it sounds to amphibian/ alien to me. It is kinda creepy. In saying that I have felt tentacle like movement down there which feels very foreign. I don't remember consciously using it, though when I have felt it, it felt like it was about 4 inches long and there was only 1.
