In Aristotle there's a prime mover, called "the unmoved mover". It's pretty much at the core of reality. It moves everything, it is the first cause of everything, but is itself unmoved. If you could recapitulate ALL THE WAY back to the first cause of everything, it would probably be this.

How does it move all things without moving? It attracts them. All beings have an innate desire to become like it, so it steers all beings towards itself.
