I say that fools tend to be very picky about where they get their useful knowledge. They tend to be more concerned with whether or not don Juan was an actual person than whether or not don Juan shared knowledge that was useful. I am more concerned with whether or not the knowledge is useful TO ME personally. If the knowledge is useful towards bettering my life I have no qualms in applying the knowledge and giving credit to whomever I gained that useful knowledge from.
