As for me, I find myself being an **** too many times a day to see myself as any great thing. I'm doing my best to tighten up the careless loose ends in my life and I'm only truly happy when I am at my very, very best. So I reach for being at my best like a drowning man reaches for a life preserver.
So you find yourself being an ****.....OK good for you. I find myself being aware, alert, and very smart. Does that me egotistical? Maybe, but i dont belittle people by calling them dimwits and all the other names you refer to the 'lower' beings you continuously insult. that does not mean you think of yourself as ''no great thing'', in my opinion, it means you see yourself better then everyone else. Hell you find them disgusting. Need I say more? If you see yourself as no great thing does that make free of self-importance? Not a chance, in fact you are merely saying you see yourself as that whereas all your statements and perceptions clearly state the opposite as being true.
I once read a great article although i forget who wrote it, it went something like this. "It is not our fear of being little that frightens us, it is that we are great, powerful, beautiful, and capable of anything that most frightens us. It does not help the world by playing small. Instead let your light shine and be the best you can be, for in doing so you allow your light to shine an din doing so allow others to shine as well". Very beautiful perception, it is how I see myself and others, and how I present myself as well. Yes, I am powerful beyond measure and have accomplished everything I claim to have, no lies. Now should I pretend that I dont see, that i dont travel other positions of awareness so that you can feel allright about yourself, and safe in your little bubble? I think not, If being confident, honest, and powerful makes me an egomaniac in your perception, then so be it. But in truth I am not the one belittling the world and everyone in it as being blind dimwits. No, I say we are great and can do anything. Power to the people.
