Hi Guys!!!

Both my California Classics arrived yesterday. I just got through doing a full setup on the white one.
Oh my God!! You've done it again!!! This California classic spins so many rings around the Fender STARCASTER
Stratocaster copy it is beyond ridiculous!!!

I bought the Starcaster to look at, not to play. It's cream colored and it looks great
and it sounds pretty good too

HOWEVER

Those cheap tuners kept the guitar chronically out of tune. It was very frustrating!!

True to Route66 form. Your tuners on the California classics are EXCELLENT!!!!
Sweet, smooth, accurate and very, very nice!

The big joke is I thought I would be refusing the package for the white CC guitar

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Refuse it??? I'm tempted to buy another one!!!!

These CC guitars are especially for Jimi Hendrix tribute playing.
I will do other things with them, but they are ESPECIALLY to honor the spirit of Jimi Hendrix

So, the black one is now called: The CC Rider Hendrix

and the white one is called: The Angel Hendrix


My extra black Route 66 should be arriving today!!

I realize now that, considering the price of the guitars, it makes no sense
spending money on a fret job, when they finally need it. So, it's better
to alternate between guitars to minimize fret-wear

I realize now that is why I bought two CCs and two Route66


Still, my sunburst Les Paul will not be neglected either!
