Take a proverbial detached step back and consider this:
If you look at the horizon you may see some land on the horizon
From your perspective that land seems to be on a curved surface.
If you go to that very spot will that land still seem to be on a curved surface?
NO, IT WILL NOT!!!
If there are hills they will be slanted. If the surface is flat
you will not need to use your parking break when you park!
So, is that spot you saw from a distance on a curved surface when you finally get there?
NO, IT ISN'T!!!!
Think about that then consider that what we call "reality" is much, much more than it seems!
