The bass got here yesterday and I love it so much I'm considering getting the red version as well,
when they have it back in stock next month

I have to face reality and that reality is:

I DON'T LIKE ACTIVE ELECTRONIC IN GUITARS!!!!

Don't mind it much in acoustic guitars as I tend to play them mostly without using it.
However, all my other bass guitars have active electronics and..

I DON'T LIKE IT!!!!

For the quality of the instrument, at this price, the bass guitar is a veritable steal.
I can't help feeling I'll wake up one day and that same bass will be three-times more expensive.

IT IS MORE THAN WORTH IT!!!
