I have a Warwick Corvette Standard bass that I rarely play.
I've put four black nylon strings on it that makes is sound better.
I keep the 5th string metal for slap playing and because the nylon lowest string sounded too 'muddy'

However, it's always the same for these active electronics instruments.
If you want to take a break you have to unplug the cord from the amp and from the guitar.

THAT SUCKS!!!

So, I got in touch with the company in order to put a switch on the bass
that shuts off the 9V power so that I don't have to disconnect it during breaks.

I got the instructions, drilled the hole and put in the switch.
Do you want to guess what happened?

When you flick the switch you hear an explosive (((BOOM))) before it turns off.

THEY COULDN'T HAVE TOLD ME THAT WOULD HAPPEN, RIGHT?

THEY JUST LET ME TAKE THE TIME AND EFFORT TO DRILL THE HOLE

THEN PUT IN THE SWITCH ONLY TO FIND IT IS USELESS TO ME!!!!!

I now realize this is one of the reasons I don't like to play the bass.

STUPID FUCKING SONS OF **** IDIOTS!!!!!

I COULD JUST TAKE THE BASS AND SLAM THAT **** OVER THE HEAD

FOR NOT TELLING ME WHAT WOULD HAPPEN WITH THAT SWITCH!!!

THIS BUBINGA WOOD VERSION IS A FUCKING $1,400.00 BASS GUITAR DAMN IT!!!!!!
