I thought I had a great idea!
I would buy a lot of strap lock buttons
and put them on all my guitars
Then I would only need one strap equipped
with the full strap lock mechanism to use on all my guitars
After all, I can only play one guitar at a time.
I didn't count on how much of a hassle it can be
disengaging the strap lock mechanism
Also, I was having problems with having to glue the buttons in.
Once you unscrew the original strap holder
There is no guarantee it will screw back in and stay solid
without glue
Now I have new guitars and no more strap lock buttons.
I've decided you don't really NEED strap locks
as long as you are careful when you put on your guitar
I used to think that I couldn't live without strap locks
I've just changed my opinion about this matter
