Sacateca, there are some neuropsychological disorders which benefit from medication. If receptors in the brain are not receiving chemicals, there is a chemical imbalance (the brain is functioning in an atypical manner).
Medication sometimes work to relieve symptoms. Medications sometimes don't work to relieve symptoms.
