I haven't been here for a while, but from what I have read of your posts you apparently take an esoteric approach to guitar which I am in full agreement with, I've found the real problem with playing guitar is that a weak, undisciplined mind is not in the moment facing the oncoming time while playing. It is when we can stop our internal dialogue and radiate loving gratitude through the notes played that the real magic of music can happen. While we're still at the point of thinking of notes, problems or anything that takes us away from the moment that music can be a chore rather than a window towards our true nature.
I'm not trying to say that I can always reach that point while playing, but it is in those moments where all I feel is joyful, loving gratitude that my music is most wonderful.
That is when music comes from the heart rather than just from the head
