Silence, for me, has to do the with layer I'm penetrating as I sink towards the heart of things. The letting go of the dialog to engage the world around me, first of form....then of something more subtle underneath the form. But mostly, right now, it has to do with stopping the dialog to get to that state of sustained awareness that doesn't categorize. Then, I guess later once that sustained awareness has gained coherence, it has to do with stopping the world....or dissolving the form of familiarity of things. And then, there's more or further. Silence implies a deepening from and toward a central position....toward the abstract core.
Thanks, Serloco....I did call myself impeccable...and believed it whole-heartedly. Silence uncovers the impeccability that's already there. And, thanks Transitions. I like how you shifted your perspective when you walked by that man. I think it takes silent awareness to make a deliberate shift like that...and know that it does indeed transform the world around us.
Good stuff....all encouragement to continue onward and inward. Tally ho!
