A long time ago I would read a book, a full novel and it would take me days to read it. I began intending that the passage of time outside of myself, the speed of the world around me, to become slower then the speed on my inner consciousness, and inner attention. As I began intending this ratio difference, I began reading at a much quicker pass, and would find that enormous passage of my book would occur in a progressively shorter amount of actual time that had passed. I now read full novels in about two hours. I do not speed read however, and take my time to fully visualize and imagine the book that I am reading.
Later I began to find myself entering into my inner attention, my consciousness and finding that when I am within myself, i can spend enormous amounts of time examining and stalking awareness, while a very short amount of time passed outside of me. When I began focusing on the 'speed' of the surrounding moment by quickly focusing my attention from my inner awareness to my outer awareness, I could see that my attention was actually slowing down everything around me.
I later found myself in a situation where I had much time to wait till my desired outcome, and wanted to speed the passing of time around me. And so i focused on my intent to see that as I focused inside my mind great amounts of time would pass around me, and so i focused within me, and set the surrounding to advance quickly and even skip entire days in the process. I once missed my birthday doing this.
And so using this awareness when I am walking somewhere, or driving somewhere I can now project the amount of time that passes as I walk, or perform an action. I can make the hour long walk in 20 minutes average, or shave off 3 hours on a 6 hour drive. i can also make a walk take an hour to get 15 minutes away. i do this by controlling my 'expectation' and place my 'visualized outcome or intent' into the preceeding moment, 'the walk or drive'. I find that the attention reaches into the future with this action and sets it up, normally one would accept the subconscious formed attention and knowledge already established, but by being aware of the placement of attention into the future of our actions, one can begin controlling the actions and in particular the time that passes while performing them.
When I focus on speed, after learning these things, I can now adjust my attention to speed up the cars moving down the road, or slow them down by merely focusing on one or the other, and seeing that my attention is actively controlling the speed by its focus of 'fast' and 'slow' and the direct intent in the focus. I can nearly stop time when I do it right however at the moment the time merely slows to a near stop then I release it and it proceeds back to its original setting. I plan on suspending the motion and leaving it stopped. I can do this with some things, like stopping the motion of a cloud, and have on a few occasions stopped cars, one at a time, while allowing the time around the object to remain the same. This means I can select an object, or group of objects and isolate the time or speed of them while leaving the reaming time normal.
