"Time is the essence of attention" - don Juan Matus
Now this is a deep quote and one of my favorites. When i first read it i had no idea what it meant but i intended to find out as don Juan instructed. All it takes is time and patience and sooner or later something will click.
Now when that click took place i was in for a big surprise. It shifted me deep into the nagual to a position where everything i was thinking about (whatever i focused my attention on) would manifest. It was similar to my understanding that everything in reality is as you are aware of it to be. As I focused my attention onto people the people would act out my attention, as if my attention were puppet strings that guided all of their actions. If i had a realization about those people then they would change to align to the realization. Everything i would think about the people would talk about aloud. I could focus deep inside myself and listen at the same time to what the people were saying and it was like i had an external dialogue instead of an internal one. So it came to be that for me whatever i focused my attention on would guide the unfolding moment into manifestation. So whatever was within my attention, or whatever it focused on would be the reality i was present in.
This quote allowed me to leave the world of average affairs behind, and enter into the world created solely from my attention.
It actually combined itself with another quote of CC's about how seers can focus their attention into time as it unfolds to witness the events before they happen as opposed to after they recede. it left me with a precognitive attention span.
