If my future would not be yours, there would not be a slightest possible notion of even such motion existing and your mind would not even get the idea of such possibility, non-existing as you imply. Right now you are only defending your freedom, while noone is taking you the freedom here and you are free to do whatever you want no matter what everyone does or says. Your need to still proove that there is a need for you to be free of others or anything, shows that you are actually not able to live with yourself free and that you are not.
