Yeah it is true I will have loads of work to do... The cultivars I am growing are hardy trees however. Mostly you can let them go and they will take care of themselves as far as fertilizer and water goes.. Shaping the trees I would not call work for me but play. It is a rewarding business for me. I am left pondering if I wil do the work myself or hire student for cheap to do the work for me. I think it is cool that I can hire employees to do my work for me. I suspect the shaping will be done mostly by myself because I love it!
Yes Sacateca, most bonsai these days are green. Most people think bonsai is a type of tree, however bonsai is really the art form you do to a tree and not the tree itself. The art of bonsai can be done to any tree mostly, however cultivars with smaller leaves are best suited for the art.
