So I went thru it a lil and its an interesting idea. But neuroplasticity dictates that the brain is re-writable. We can shape our brains to desired effects.. I believe that with the human potential we can merely intend our brains to do all the enhancements that computer interfaces are capable of. The mind is a remarkable instrument. Personally I have seen many different versions of my own mind and what it is capable of. Amazing things.
I think reliance on computers has gone too far, and evolving this idea would mean less natural development on the human brain itself. I think natural evolution is the way to go here. He says how can you communicate with beings on top of, lets say a mountain? His answer is communication devices within the brain. I say the advancement of natural telepathy.
As I see it now, the advantage for someone biotechnologically engineered vs someone naturally evolved would go to the naturally evolved individual. What is better, being part machine, or being naturally enhanced without technological dependence?
