I bolded for you the words that should help answer your questions to me in your last post:
I wrote:I had a similar approach serloco. I worked on myself and kept single because I think that if two messes want a relationship together it will hardly be anything healthy.  At some point I understood I have cleared enough of my bs and am more healthy than the norm by far. I am balanced and I find that if everyone took such care with themselves we would be somewhere else entirely in our relationships.
so, in my post, I talk about health as balance, emotional balance more specifically (but not only), and link it do clearing bs (and not being a 'mess'). I have a more wide ranging definition of health that goes beyond what you wrote in your first paragraph but there is no need to go into that for the purposes of my message (I do not feel like going into that now... other than say that it is a very holistic approach. I do think I have spoken about this before though).

In terms of what you say about comparing oneself. It is just a realization I have made at the time I speak of. Nothing more nothing else. No need to overcomplicate things.

I do not think comparing oneself links to some linear success measurement (at least not for me). I got green eyes you got brown - there I compared us now where does that go in terms of linear success? Wink. Comparing is natural. We notice things - it is natural.
Why assume that just because you notice differences that you "set your course by the lights of every passing ship?"

I already answered your question about who I was comparing myself to in my original message. The norm - and since it is my experience.... it is the norm that I meet and experience and see etc. It is the case that Tibetan monks are not part of my experience - sadly (and even if they were they would not be the norm) Wink. Either way, I do not think Tibetan monks are the norm for most of the planet. So in that sense, it should have been clear that Tibetan monks is not who I am talking about. Similar can be said about the convicts - they are not the norm.
