A cool lil gem I learned involved enhancing your attention and developing it into a prophetic attention. I would sit in the night and listen to all the sounds around me and pay close attention to them all. After awhile of this I began to 'hear' the sounds before they would occur. Just a second or so before they happened. I started jogging in the night and listening to my attention tell me everything that would happen before it occurred. Sure enough one night I was about to run into a fairly deep pit in the ground that prolly would of wrecked my knee or ankle, and I managed to leap right over it!
This form of attention is close by another form where you actually create what happens instead of hearing and knowing what would of actually happened. See I wondered, after knowing everything before it happened, if I was actually creating the sounds and actions around me, and not just knowing of them before hand. This was all I needed to enter the second attention to the position where my intent was creating, or dreaming, the outcomes.
