to ponder, to realize, to imagine, to identify, to associate, relate, define, to conclude
You are correct thoughts store feelings such as love, fear, anger, etc. Once we build a feeling the energy is then stored in our memory until it is again triggered.
Thoughts are formed by our intent and our will, the very life we live, our awareness. Thoughts are often formed as a stimulus to the environment, a reaction to what we perceive. As well as a reaction to our own thoughts, and imagination. Again, thoughts are also formed by the direction of our probing attention. Attention holds within it the intent of that direction. For example when you love someone you tend to focus on them in a positive light, bringing positive awareness and glowing ideas and feelings about the person. Likewise when you dislike someone your attention focuses in a negative direction, bring bad feelings and negative ideas and conclusion about the person. ONe tends to discover what they seek depending on the intent behind the attention.
Thoughts form, or lead to, beliefs and opinions. Our thoughts give us identity thru self awareness. "I think therefor I am." This adds to the intend of your probing attention. For example a person who's identity is cynical or bitter, then to focus and thus perceive in a scrutinizing fashion.
Looking for fault in things and having a generally negative mind frame. Our identity forms ultimately a filter in which we examine from. ONe may look out at the roses and see beauty, and other one may look at the mud and see filth. Of course this comes from the stored energy we have made through our experiences brought back through the triggers of our memory, through the part of our awareness associated with knowledge and perception. We judge the world all the time, and we carry this judgement with us through the cohesion of our awareness. The bonds we make. The pathways our minds follow.
Don't forget Julio that words too carry energy within them, they convey understanding. Everything in this universe in connected, and thus even simple words convey the truth of the 'thing' they are pointing at. Intent can be seen in anything, including words. That brings me to my next point, awareness "tells" you what you see and experience, and thus awareness forms conclusions and facts, realizations and epiphanies.
More to come.
