Flowetry

With a flash of light
i turn off the sight
of the old world
away it goes without a fight
nothing to hold onto as i enter into flight
the darkness surrounds
i await for the new sound
my ears to listen to the unknown
nothing to know and nothing to lose
i slip away and have everything to choose
i dont know what i will find
another mountain yet to climb
but im slipping
holding onto the footholds of trust
as all i knew of has come to rust
lost many things
put them away
maybe take them back again
on a rainy day
my mind is set
and i shall not fret
but find peace and tranquility
caught in the mystery
i shall go
and not look back
slip out and away
and leave no tracks
