Now it is really quite simple and yet it evades so many people. What does it mean to cast a spell? Well you must look at the word itself, spell. Thats right and perfect name too. When you call something in reality something, anything, and give it a definition you are actually spelling it. You give it the name it has, and as such you are commanding it's form and function. The name you assign something has within it awareness and intent of the form you have just spelled for it. Transformation magic demands that you reassign the name you have given it and reform the definition of it. It's no surprise that we call magic "craft" because you are in essence crafting and spelling what reality is for you and what will take place and form. Now any practitioner knows that it is your intent and your will that sets the stage for any spell or effect you are casting. Using sorcery terms you form your own awareness of what something is and thus you align to that perceptual form. Names are like judgments and when you get quick enough you can work with the free flowing essence of reality and control your own inner judgments, which are names you are spelling out to your reality and form them willfully for yourself.
