Astral travel got me into reading don Juan. I used to go to another forum. Still friends with them too. I intended mostly to astral travel and then found myself entering into the states defined for me. Yes people often have their own ideas about how to project. I never did well with most of them but can intend myself into the astral position of awareness with my intent alone. Easiest for me is to intend it into my dreams then find myself where I intend, however entering bodily into the astral is easy to do also. I just envision the world around me as the astral and away I go. Nothing much to it really, fluid awareness is key and the intent to enter into it. I stalk my dreams from a waking state and intend it to happen. So yeah. Believe it or not reading other peoples trips and advice does help a lot too, it sets your intent.
