Yes, we lock our potential into the form, we are experiencing, by the awareness we have developed, which is called cohesion. This does not limit the Infinite potential however, because your awareness can move into another position, and release thje fixated, or cohesive, awareness present. This we always have Infinite potential, but what we form with it is not always Infinite. My point was that when you say that Infinity can not be owned, or controlled, you are wrong, because of total freedom.
self-imposed limitations are caused by the cohesive position of awareness, in a position that says one is limited. I do not know how fear would play a part in this. But by following any awareness given to you that says you are not free, but limited, only places you within that box. And as awareness forms in any way imaginable, there are many different reasons for forming limited awareness. I as a seer always do my best to examine what ever awareness is present, and allows me to see where they lead before I enter into them.
The energy of any action lies within the awareness of the action. Your body position as you perform the action will manifest the reaction, in the way the awareness has intended it to. Thus if you have knowledge, or awareness, or an expectation of the action you are performing then that is what you will generate. If you be aware of any action and control the energy within it, the awareness of it, you will to control the reaction. However if you give yourself to forces beyond yourself you are not controlling the action anymore, but your focus on the beyond is, and thus you are merely shifting your position to give yourself up to someone or something else, or to Infinity. however as a living being of awareness I can choose for myself, and perform my own actions, and yet with my focus of attention to Infinity I can use Infinity to teach me anything I want, by controlling my intent to learn something, that is formed in my attention, to have the awareness needed from the unknown to control my action and form it. This is because I open the channel of attention to the unknown of Infinity while knowing that Infinity can do as I intend perfectly. The conscious awareness that Infinity sends into me, then guide my perception and awareness in this direction.
I do not know about having to do something and simply doing as you say. I do not form my awareness to 'have to do anything', nor the difference of simply doing. I can simply do as I want, and this is not forced, nor do I have to do anything, I can choose what I do, and how I do it. If I have awareness of having to do something, or needing to do something, then that is the awareness that will cast the form of my doings.
