Maybe alignment with another could also be described as ....
When one "witnesses" or "sees in Spirit" (non duality), there is an energy exchange, which ables one to understand *The Dreaming of The Witnessed* directly, by feeling the essence and the energy flow of another within one's self. Interpretations and rationalizations can only act as a shield to this totally and utterly simple act of openness in Spirit.
Beyond the complex rationalizations of the dual mind nothing escapes one's attention.
It seems, that we either promote non-dual awareness or dual awareness in our lives, and for obvious reasons.
