Intents depend on the power used to intend them. Sounds simple eh? Actually it is. All this sorcery stuff is if we do not try and make it difficult. Intents are the suggestions of the mind upon the universe at large and all that are in it. When they become "real" are by acts and effects.
Thus if one intends towards you and you take the intent it will affect. If you block then your intent meets their intent and the result is based on the power of the individual intents.
Place your hands on her back and use them to "pull" out the shadow, use your intent to do so. Shake your hands in a wringing motion to disspell what you pull out several times and after your done.
